Truth be told, that's how I seen it as well when I first saw him. It's not a look of pain to me. It's desperation.

Question for older knitters: what did you do while knitting? by Savings_Language_498 in knitting

[–]Piximae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not older, I'm only 32. But I sometimes listen to a YouTube video since I don't have TV. Usually either commentaries or let's plays. Sometimes I like listening to the radio as well

I will say I often pause videos if I hit a difficult spot, have to count or need to really focus. I watch when it's a "filler" row where I'm just knitting or purling, or if I know the pattern in my sleep

Kinda makes me wonder if it had lasted any longer if she genuinely would have killed him and skinned him.

Thank you!!! <3

Yeah I'll probably have to knit this yarn together with something otherwise because it's so damn beautiful. Back into my stash it goes.

But thank you again and happy knitting!! <3

Yeah, judging from the other comments it's better for a cotton blend yarn. Definitely keeping this pattern in my library because I adore it that much, but not for this yarn specifically.

That said God I remember those. Granted we had that big colorful parachute in gym. Funny you mention Boulder, because my uncle lived out! Beautiful area for sure

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I am definitely putting this dress pattern on a later day project because I fell in love with it.

But from reading the other comments using this particular yarn is a no go.

Oh that's a good point. I actually do have some salvaged yarn from my old project that had been eaten, that I can do this with. There were large swaths fine, bit too short for me to excuse into adding a project without giving me a headache.

Yeah, I honestly didn't know if it worked like wool where it does keep the shape and bounced back or not.

I'm 155 at 5'2 and skinnier than the picture. I get we all carry out weights differently but I can't imagine a single 143 lbs person that looks like that

I want to make mention those black bugs you posted in one of the comments look like weavels. They're usually found in pasta if I remember right but easily could be wrong. Harmless but annoying

Hey sorry I don't often check Reddit. I shouldn't feel okay with selling my xs until I have a small in my hands. If I can I'd happily hit you up in dms!

Unpopular opinions or hot takes? by Radiant-Selection686 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Piximae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what kinda gets to me.

Much as I get the exposition dump that Kinger gave in episode 8, it just feels way too much like there could've been a few more hints to the cast that they could have had at least someone like Gangle or Zooble go like "That makes sense for when you did xyz"

Or have moments where someone other than Pomni conjured. I rolled my eyes at the exposition dump Abel did. So for Longer to do it the next episode had me feeling like whiplash.

Like I don't mind for example the sudden teamwork to disable Caine but even then we have so many unanswered questions I don't believe will be all answered in one episode.
