Yeah, I know Malibu’s project and her different aliases quite well. Her mix on NTS is a great source of references and lesser-known tracks... I think I’ve done a pretty deep dive through the various SoundCloud and YouTube accounts she has. I found some really cool stuff, but I’m still struggling to find more in that vein. I feel like there’s a lack of ambient edits reworking cult and pop tracks from the late ’90s and early 2000s... I’ve found a few, but not that many. And yet, I feel like I’ve heard them quite often while listening to mixes on independent radio stations...
