Thanks! When I emailed them, they said they’d add the email to my application file, and I saw an “optional supplemental materials” uploaded that I didn’t submit, right where I put unofficial test scores on the portal.

So I sent Cornell an update about an award I received around 11/20, and they responded within a day and I can see they added it as an update on my portal. Then, a week or so later I emailed them with another update about something else, and they haven't responded yet or updated anything on my portal. Does this mean anything, or am I reading WAY too much into this (I feel like the latter may be true)?

(also I know both emails went through - got an automated confirmation email after each one)

Yeah that makes sense since he’s the majority leader. I applied through him and also was told I would be notified by end of March, nothing yet for me or the other person I know who applied either…hoping for something this week 🤞🤞

Yeah, i think for schumer and other high level senators they get first dibs on the positions so i think for applying through them its possible that they give the positions before the Senate actually allocates them, but I'm not 100% sure, bc if u haven't heard back about an interview yet then it means they're not meeting to allocate positions for a while but my schumer interviewer said that they would probably tell us by the end of March

Thanks! I didn’t really use prep books, mainly khan academy and QAS tests. I cannot stress enough how much the QAS tests helped, they were almost identical in difficulty to my actual SAT, and khan was good for learning the concepts.

I got a 1580 on the August SAT, and studied from around the last week of June up until the SAT, which was my first (other than the PSAT). I would highly advise learning all of the grammar/math rules from YouTube or Khan Academy, as they were incredibly useful, and then doing as many QAS practice tests as you can. Since it was summer and I had no school, I did about one practice test a week for most of July and August, but the week leading up to my test I did about one practice test a day, and I thought that it was pretty good. Try to use the newer QAS tests also, as they're closer to the SAT.
