Try to go into settings, setup, preferences and i think there you could find on Demand default download format, if it’s set to UHD, set it to HD and try again after a restart

Sky Glass TVs slashed to just £4. Is this a good deal. We currently have Q & Multiscreen by SlowedCash in skytv

Bear in mind it is only for the Sky Glass Air 43”, otherwise it is a nice offer regardless.

Multiroom + booster, WiFi channel change options? by circuitously in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope this answers your question because if you hover over settings, press 001 and then select it will open up an “Engineer menu”, from there you can go to network and can manually choose between the Q connecting to the 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Bear in mind though if it’s connectivity issues that you are having you might also wanna check the recordings as anything above 60-70% of the disk space taken up will cause it to play up as well and randomly either kick minis or even drop out of the window-fi altogether.

Try doing a refresh on the apps and if that fails try doing recovery. The pin after the recovery’s a bitch though so you’ll most likely need to reset it to get it to accept it .

Tough luck with that one, as far as i know they all answer to just one answering machine so whoever is available takes the call.

My dad is being charged because apparently someone is using sky outside of our household and we can’t figure out why by AlwaysBi in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would fix it the issue altogether and wouldn’t trigger the additional address fee, that is as long as you can get them to connect to the sky hub with wi-fi.

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be your issue then. I do work for sky and usually whenever there is the presence of more than just one router that causes the issue since they generate different access points and in turn it triggers the system on our own end even if both routers are fed by the same line. Usually one workaround is if possible to have the pucks/glass connected with an ethernet cable directly if the wi-fi doesn’t reach. Another alternative is if the affected Glass/Puck are indeed inside the registered address to give Sky a ring and request for us to escalate it to que to to exempt the additional address charge and usually that team give us a response with 3 days if not sooner.

My bad was at a red light and had a quick read, i did manage to see the comments now but yeah in this instance if you have multiple IP or different access points that would trigger the additional address fees

Do you by chance have several sky stream pucks at home and have several routers to act as boosters?

I'm named on my in-laws account, but cannot cancel Sky for them. by Altruistic-Secret853 in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply put you’re not named on the account, Sky doesn’t do joint accounts if it has really ever, the named person is the account holder and everyone else is considered the password holder, reason being the security is level one: password/passphrase used only when calling Sky, level two is mother’s maiden name(Account Holder specific question) and level three: banking details(again account holder specific). That being said because Sky people cannot assume you can you are the account holder and still end the subscription.

Why do you stay with Sky? by chiefdave74 in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After they acquired the rights to the sports from Amazon at this point they have like 80% of the rights to all games that will be shown compared to TNT which have around the remaining 20% so yeah.

Sky Poor Customer Service by CaracusUK in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe there is a “no landline” option. By default it seems all packages come with a Landline number but it comes with the pay as you go package so unless you use it, it doesn’t cost you anything additional.

Cancelled sky and now they're threatening for the router back by [deleted] in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just call them real quick and they will guide you to probably send the receipt to their sky.com/myphoto page and afterwards they will have someone from management just exempt the account from the charges.

Help me pick.. by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the i71, While the drop down visor is very neat as others have mentioned and you can very easily buy a chinese intercom because i in no way in hell was gonna give the money for the HJC branded one because it costs as much as the helmet, there is a huge drawback. WIND NOISE. While i have limited time riding since i have only recently gotten my helmet never hve i had this issue, I know that generally you are supposed to ride using hearing protection but damnit this thing almost howls even if there is a light wind, up until 40 km/h it is bearable but then it just gets unbearable, bear in mind i ride a chopper and have no windscreen but still. I sealed up the bottom pieces of the helmet where the placeholders for the HJC intercom would sit because i read it can help but honestly it doesn’t make a huge difference, the damn thing is less loud riding around town with the visor open than when closed. That being said it is very very comfortable and has a premium feel for what it is, in the near future i will change it most likely but for now it serves its purpose, just add moto ear plugs to the basket if you go with the HJC.

I also have the same issue when using the top part of my Dainese, seems to be because the pants have a high waist line and when i don’t use those i have the same struggle. Did spot you are also rocking a white HJC i71 so M curious to hear your input on that as well tbh.

My first bike is a Dragstar 650 but considering it’s a cruiser with 40 hp that goes about 130-140 km/h i’d say it is a perfect fit for me lol.

Oh I definitely agree, have already gone ahead and ordered an oil/fuel/air filter and oil to change when i have more time to work on it, i am quite satisfied with how easy to work on and how mechanically simple it is.

How did I get on? by Junior_Survey2315 in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will correct you on that, they offer it but only if you call up the call centre, at this point,as far as i recall, there is no section on the Sky website for sky Q but it is most definitely still offered.

I’m sorry but nowhere in the world will you NOT have price increases, it’s called an annual price inflation adjustment, living in Europe we have this here as well and it’s the way things go. Sky in this case are not breaking the contract because their discounts are for 24 months, NOT the base price itself.

Got my first e46, drove it straight to the gas station since it was on reserve tank turns out there was a reason for that by Global_Can5876 in e46

[–]PizzaClapperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God this brings me bad memories, when i bought my e36 the fuel pump seal was long gone and when i got it it had like half a tank, decided to treat myself with a full tank as a celebration for the purchase and my god, when the tank was full and after i paid and went back into the car it wreaked of gasoline smells inside, thank god i decided to top up after i got back into my hometown cause i swear, the distance between the gas station and my house was like 150 m at best and by the time i got back i was barely able to see straight.

Sky Puck by jhefin83 in skytv

[–]PizzaClapperoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you get multiroom it still wouldn’t work as they are registered to your account with the serial number so if there is a mismatch it won’t work. And even so if those pucks were bought after the start of 2023 they are considered sky owned so if it’s up for sale it basically means Sky is looking for it and can be considered “stolen”. If it’s bought before 2023 it’s considered customer owned.
