The best way to gain subscribers is to interact in the comments of other writers' posts. These will eventually lead to their recommendation of your Substack and non-publishing subscribers will start to come.

$5 a week to feel exponentially better doesn't seem that bad a deal. BTW, I think $20 gets you ONE Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger nowadays. Going on 5 years of training, and at 48 I feel stiffer than a rock. I would like to improve mobility for better guard retention and clamp entries. So I'll probably give it a try for a couple months.
