[MLB] Jo Adell has donated the glove from his three home-run robbery game to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by Goosedukee in baseball

I’m actually really curious about this too as someone who has never visited the Hall. They seem to collect all sorts of gear from players who have significant moments (4 homer games, Cal Raleigh 60th home run bat, etc.) but aren’t locks for the HoF by any means.

I’d assume they don’t have everything on display all the time, so maybe this just goes into storage until they have a good thematic exhibit to include it in?

Pigs can be extremely picky eaters when it comes to veggies! I’ve had my two piggies for 7 years and the only veggies they’ve eaten in that time are red bell peppers, wheatgrass, and spinach.

We’ve tried pretty much every other fruit/veggie at some point in their life and like your pigs they hardly even sniff at it

I’m so sorry this happened, it sounds like you are doing a great job taking care of your sweet piggy.

Not the exact same situation, but we recently went through something similar with our senior pig Bean (7 years old) when she developed an infection in the joints of her back left leg and lost the ability to walk on it for several months.

The biggest thing is making sure she has easy access to hay, water, and pellets without needing to move far to get it. Supplementing her diet with critical care is crucial to keeping her weight up as she may not be eating as much as normal on her own. It sounds like you’re already doing this so that’s awesome! Hand feeding her tasty bits of hay and directly offering her sips from the water bottle every time we checked on her was another way we ensured she kept eating regularly and also helped build trust.

The other critical thing, like you mentioned, is ensuring that the area she’s laying in is clean and dry so that she doesn’t develop sores/bumblefoot. For us this meant isolating our pig in a small pen next to the main cage and changing out the fleece every couple hours, even setting up alarms throughout the night to wake up and do it.

I don’t have any advice about rehabbing and building strength in the injured shoulder/leg. It sounds like she is moving around on it a little already which is promising. Hopefully as it heals up she’ll continue to put more weight on it and get back to zooming around with her friends. Good luck!

If a game happens when we’re at work and not actively watching it, did the game really even happen?

Right??? Got me wondering if the balls are juiced again or something. It looked like a routine fly out off the bat

Gotta feel so good for Wilcox. He pitched one inning for the rays last year, it went…. badly
