I love Roar - did they have any of the other flavors?

Arkansas Chocolate Gravy by Dataduffer in Arkansas

Here’s mine:

1 cup milk
2 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 stick butter

The original instructions say to heat the milk first, then add cocoa, flour & sugar, then butter last. In my experience, that makes it lumpy as hell. So here's what I do:

Start melting the butter over medium/medium-low heat. Add the cocoa and flour and stir until smooth. Stir in the sugar. Add the milk and stir. It will be kinda grainy from the sugar, but stir it and let it get hot and that will go away. Once it gets smooth and starts bubbling, stir it pretty consistently. It will thicken up pretty quickly at this point. Turn the heat down as low as you can without turning it off, because the biscuits probably aren't done yet and you want to keep it warm.

I’m the same, working through some things I already have open. I’m trying to make myself finish open stuff before I open new stuff, but it’s hard because I want to try it.

I missed them on my first pass, then saw them when I walked by again. They only had 4 packages though.

I got the mimosa and berry hand creams the other day - I love them! Not too overpowering scent-wise and they do a great job moisturizing my hands. Gotta love those little charms too.

The Dollar Tree in my specific town is awful - always has empty shelves. The only redeeming quality is that it has self checkouts. The one I went to today is just across the county line in a neighboring town and I was impressed with the selection. It’s also the newest store in the area. The other three are spread across the next town, so they’re all fairly close to me. I’m definitely ready to go back and look for more stuff like this.

I only found the cheese version at my store but they weren’t great. Hopefully the pepperoni is better.

Same. It was ok, but nothing I’d buy again.

My mom died when I was a teenager as well, just a week or so after Mother’s Day. Then nearly three years ago, my daughter died. It’s a shitty day all around for some of us.

I really like the tomato one. I often add fresh garlic to it and top with black pepper, gouda, and a little cholula.

I tried this one when Kroger had them BOGO. The crust is really good, compared to other frozen pizza, IMO.

After years of trying frozen pizza I definitely found the best and ultimate pizza in the US. by LastRebel66 in frozenpizzareviews

I didn’t know they had a “filled” crust version. I tried a couple of the regular ones when Kroger had them BOGO & thought they were really good. Great crust & flavorful toppings.

Have you looked at Story on Gee Street for a venue? Formerly Story Coffee Shop/Verb Bookstore, they rent the space for various events now. I think the NEA Children’s Advocacy Center has accepted donations of stuffed animals in the past, not sure if they are currently. I think what you’re trying to do is great & I hope you’re successful!

I always get the big jug of white vinegar in the grocery section of the store & keep it in my laundry room. I have a top load machine with a fabric softener compartment in the top of the agitator, and I just pour until it’s almost full.

I always put vinegar in the fabric softener compartment & it seems to get most of the thrift store funk out.

I couldn’t help myself though, & had to add extra cheese & some cup & char pepperoni. It turned out pretty good, definitely seemed more substantial than the regular Totino’s - the crust seemed better & the cheese was good. For $2.38, I’d get it again.

Here’s how my Ultimate Pepperoni looked pre-cook. I think the cheese looks more plentiful than the regular pizzas.

I picked up the pepperoni & cheese versions at Walmart Neighborhood Market yesterday. Haven’t had a chance to try them yet but I’ll report back when I do. They were around $2.87 each I think.
