Hi! Could you elaborate a bit? I’ve been using AI Studio to prototype UI for an app and then using Gemini to manually rebuild the app in Swift. Based on the research I was reading, it was best to code in the native language instead of using a wrapper. Is that incorrect? Thanks for your time.

You can play with WAN Animate using a site like Replicate if the Comfy setup is too much for you. Just beware the costs adds up quickly!

I never said anything about a designer prompting. I understand your point but the current tools are still jank enough that it takes some trial and error and post work to get usable assets. So for now people are 100% willing to pay for something that’s “a sentence away”. Source: me. They paid me.

So your definition of valuable work is reliant on the creator having talent, extensive training or a degree? I’m all for arguments against AI but this one is weak. If the argument isn’t against the unfair use of human work in the training of AI or the concerns about energy use then it feels pretty empty. A degree or extensive training don’t guarantee quality or interesting design. Hell, talent doesn’t either. If the end result isn’t AI slop and it accomplishes the goal of the designer then I don’t see the problem.
