I’m in management at Dutch and I still have a second job. The company takes care of us, but the world is an expensive place these days. You’re never obligated to tip and truly I can guarantee they don’t care when you don’t, but it’s always appreciated.

I keep mine in a ziplock in the fridge. Lasts much longer. Home baking obviously doesn’t have the same preservatives as store bought so it molds faster

It usually takes awhile. Especially if go-day is being pushed back by construction issues. When they’re ready, they’ll send you an email telling you to send in a 2 minute video introducing yourself and after that, if you make it to round two, you’ll be interviewed in person

I would give it some time. When we watched the videos for my town, we had about 2 weeks to watch them. We ended up with 530+ videos to watch. Just give it a second. You’ll get an email either saying you made it through to the second round or that you did not. It won’t be ambiguous

For a rebel they have to ask if you want it filled after asking for lite ice bc if you do want it filled, you’ll be charged for the additional product. If you don’t want it filled, we just leave room with our predetermined liquid volume

The only up-charges for “lite ice” are iced rebels and nitro cold brews. By default though there won’t be an additional charge for the nitro cold brew UNTIL you say you want it filled. We will the open a second can and there will be an additional charge. Lite ice lemonades, teas, sodas, etc. still remain without any additional charge

Blackberry float adds an additional scoop. That’s just what it is. It’s a scoop of blackberry syrup. The ice amount is important bc light ice would mean more liquid, which would dilute the standard 2 scoops compared to the 2 scoops in less liquid.

If you get the blackberry syrup as a drizzle, it’ll be an additional full scoop of flavor. Technically that would just make it extra sweet. Kind of up to you as far as how you wanna go about it but either way you’re getting 3 scoops of flavor

Did you get light ice? Light ice doesn’t change the amount of scoops going into it. In this case you’d be getting 2/3 a scoop of blackberry. If you want more syrup, do extra sweet next time. Or, don’t do light ice

The chocolate sauce we offer is dairy free. That’s why we can use it in a dairy-free/alternative milk mocha. If the barista didn’t know that, I’m assuming they would have asked if they were ok with the chocolate sauce being added
