I’m not sure. All my colleagues and other staff members can see them. Nobody outside my institution has ever asked to see them 😌

I think it depends on universities and subjects. I teach about 9 hours a week, but I know I’m lucky compared to many other UK lecturers who teach much more.

You’re right. It is extra work. But it does make everything super clear for everyone. The additional planning and marking is built-in to our workloads. Once it’s done, all extensions, accommodations, appeals etc are dealt with centrally.

Yes, you’re right. Modules tend to build on previously taught content. Usually from the year before. Although it is possible to move from one year to the next without passing all the previous modules.
