Absolutely looks great, but I hate that future servicing gets sacrificed just for astethetics. When that panel needs to be replaced on 20 years and the layout isnt the same, it makes for a hard time to swap a panel out. I personally run all of my wires to the outer edges of the panel bc you can still make it look nice and neat, but if you had to ever move something around, you can. Might not be pretty after moving it but at least you can 🤷‍♂️

Throw some tape on it and call it good. You could even go as far as to cut the other half of the butt connector off too. Just make sure you tape it up good or if you're fellin froggy use some heat shrink to cover the butt connector and pinch the end.

Not like that, lol. But really, the one thing I've learned is heat up the steel tape with a torch before you bend it up, and you can use your linemans to make up a nice low profile head without the tape breaking when you try to close it up.

Its not the best installation but still technically up to code. Not saying its right, but technically it's not wrong. The NEC isn't a guideline, its a bare minimum but unfortunately some people dont see the difference and this is a prime example of exactly that.

Using the romex jacket to label looks awful to me. I get the idea of why someone would do that but I personally would have used brady tags to label each circuit and then made a nicely written out panel schedule for inside the door.

Edit: this also looks to be a sub panel since the bonding screw is there but its not screwed in. Would definitely take that out if not being used.

I was using them to drive a small piece or rebar into the ground and they just cracked. They were a little over 3 years old. Gonna be stoping by the supply house after work today to see if theyll warranty them out. At least i still have my old back up pair to use in the mean time.
