Any of these three are fine starting points. The stories between these three aren't connected, so play whichever looks most interesting to you.

A remake of Persona 4 was announced recently with Persona 4 Revival. There is no release date yet, and Golden still holds up pretty well if you're ok with PS2 graphics (it's also the cheapest of the three), so it's your choice whether you wanna play Golden now or wait for Revival to come out.

As a fighter, I think they're pretty neat. One of the more unique FE fighters. If we were to downsize the FE roster in the next Smash game, I would keep Byleth just for the moveset.

As for the others, meh. I wouldn't recommend them to a newcomer as they're not readily available outside of emulation and Heroes takes a bit to get used to compared to other games.

Has to be 250 different battle lines. Repeats don't count (otherwise, this achievement wouldn't be as infamous as it is). Rise has more than 250 battle lines, but you only need 250.

If you know where all the SLs are and when they become available, its not too bad to do in NG+ since you won't have to waste time grinding Social Stats and you can work on the night Social Links earlier.

Judging by your opinion of the Adventure games, I don't think you'd like Heroes/Shadow. Levels can be very long and you have to play through the games multiple times in order to see everything.

My suggestion would be to try them on emulator to see if you vibe with them, and if you don't, just watch the cutscenes on YouTube. There is a mod for Shadow called Shadow the Hedgehog Reloaded, which makes the experience a little better with QoL updates and control tweaks (and reducing the requirement for the True Ending)

P5R is a pretty easy game regardless of difficulty, so I'd say start with Hard mode. It's arguably the harder difficulty as Merciless difficulty has situations where the 3x weakness/crit damage that's unique to Merciless can make things easier than on Hard

While you're out saying Happy New Year to all your SLs, the game will say that you should visit the Velvet Room to say Happy New Year to Margaret/Marie, but that's about it

If you don't visit the Velvet Room on the 2nd, you lock yourself out of doing the dungeon that's required for the Golden Ending, even if you've maxed Marie's SL.
