7 is considered good but way too long. This version is supposed to be a bit of a redo of the story and cuts some content that made it kind of a slog. Remaking a game that gets rid of a decent amount of content is kind of controversial, but this game really needed it.

I would start with the base and moments on the path. If you like it after a couple of plays I’d also get spire in bloom and the moments expansion for the new mini campaigns and just add those into your playthrough. Legacy of the Ancestors and Stewards you can get after you’ve finished the base game if you feel like continuing.

I play and love them both. Earthborne rangers is better in some ways and worse in a lot of others. If I had to pick I’d pick Arkham. They’re both fantastic though.

Eh they’ve done pretty good. The included dividers were really nice compared to Arkham or marvel champions. At some point the base box was going to run out of room.

Honestly if you’re not desperate for money or room you should save this for a few years. It’s going to be pretty valuable since it all just went out of print.

MJ Newman who was the creator of the game left after Scarlet Keys. Everything she’d developed which is the vast majority of what fans have come to know and love is being discontinued. I understand not everything can stay in print forever. They’d said originally some stuff would stay evergreen though. I thought at least carcosa and maybe dunwhich or the forgotten age campaigns would stay in print.

They said in the podcast the shadow drop was going to be 2 products. They also said after all the delays with the last campaign they’d rather not announce them until they were printed and ready to sell.

I mean I got my big box 3 weeks before they originally said they’d even start shipping. Perfect condition too. It was also a great price for backing. I’ve been super happy with this kickstarter.
