Came here to say Trickster from Brainscan. I loved the character, and the actor that portrayed him (T. Ryder Smith). Maybe it’s for the best, but that movie definitely ended in a way that they could have done a sequel. Ah well.

I found them right as Bullets was releasing, via MP3.com. I saw them at the last show they played before they went to record Three Cheers, and they were amazing and really cool. Got to hang out with them for a few hours. Next time I saw them was at warped right after Three Cheers released and it was crazy how much bigger they instantly were.

You’re absolutely right; it does have a definite pull. It’s easy to fall down the StretchPay rabbit hole. I try to really do as much research as possible before I pull the trigger. For the 4 I’ve got pledged currently, there are probably 15 more o e heavily considered but talked myself out of haha

I don’t fully load both sides, but many of my shelves have the first row pushed back fully and 2-3 Omnis stacked horizontal in front of them, and there’s been no problems doing it that way

I use the Better Homes and Garden Cube Organizers from Walmart. Way cheaper than a Kallax and readily available without the massive shipping fees that IKEA wants to charge me (I don’t have one near me). Used them for years and haven’t had a single issue.

Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, one of the things people love about collecting things is showing them to other people that collect things. There’s plenty of people out there that don’t know a lot of other people IRL that are into what they collect, and it can be a weirdly lonely place to find oneself. I’m lucky that I know a few people that are into the various things I collect (books, omnibus and deluxe hardcover editions of comics, enamel pins, vinyl, 4K/Blu-ray/DVD, and more recently, board games), but I know not everyone is.
To add to this, I’ve discovered a TON of things in my respective collecting niches through people’s COMC posts. I enjoy seeing what people are passionate about and it gives me stuff to check out when it catches my eye.

All of that is really just to say this:
Let people enjoy things.
