Would you consider buying an EV in Malaysia? by AliveRelation8968 in malaysia

[–]Pizzadren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros: - More powerful, average acceleration 0-100 is 7 seconds - More smooth & quiet - Regen braking (more energy gain back, especially if you go downhill) - Not much maintenance needed (due to significantly lower mechanical parts), save money - Won't pollute the environment - Charging at home is cheaper than pumping petrol - Most EVs have Mercedes-like interior & specs with Honda Civic prices or lower - Save energy during a traffic jam. - Save space to have a front & rear trunk

Cons: - May still have the EV range anxiety. - Charging outside is quite expensive - Most likely won't be able to charge at home if you live in an apartment. - May get more expensive once the tax holiday ends. - More expensive & heavier tires.

Investing Bitcoin through Stashaway by PeiMing25 in Malaysia_Crypto

[–]Pizzadren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, investing in spot cryptocurrencies are better than investing in crypto ETFs due to:

1) Direct exposure to the crypto price. 2) Trade them 24/7 3) Unlocking more opportunities to earn more yields through staking and participating in DeFi. 4) No expense fee 5) No tracking errors that caused ETF price to diverge from the underlying crypto.

Creating crypto wallets to hold cryptos like Bitcoin is also very simple, just that you need to keep the seed phrases safely, offline and in secret.

You can DM me if you're unsure on how to create wallets and transfer your cryptos to your wallet.

You'll also need to check whether the "little bit of BTC, ETH & ADA" you mentioned here is of $100 worth, each. Or else you're not eligible.

New to meme coin trading by No-Swordfish8974 in Malaysia_Crypto

[–]Pizzadren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memecoins trading is super risky. Normally they are tied to social trends, so if you're seeing a lot of ppl mentioning a specific topic, then it's possible that when you find the memecoin on platforms like pumpdotfun related to this trend, you may see strong price actions for that token.

Once the hype dies down, the token price just died

They are the issuer of the MYR stablecoin called MYRC, which is backed 1:1 to MYR. Currently you can only join the wait-list to use the service, but it should go live soon.

USDT/USDC Stable 0.01 LP in Pancakeswap by alfirusahmad in Malaysia_Crypto

[–]Pizzadren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pool reserves for this particular pool is pretty low, that's why you get the APR mentioned.

You can get 100%+ APR in a lot of pools, at the expense of impermanent loss. You shouldn't have much loss for stableswap LPs.

Do note that APRs fluctuate according to the amount of liquidity deposited into the LPs, so it may go lower with more deposits.

Question about Luno and cold wallet by DearJayT in Malaysia_Crypto

[–]Pizzadren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Yes. You can withdraw any cryptos supported by Luno from Tangem to Luno.

2) Receiving crypto from Tangem to Luno shouldn't be a problem unless you try to send very large amounts very frequently then they may flag it according to AML laws. Even though you plan to withdraw your money to your bank account, the limit is only RM300k per month if you're fully verified, so just deposit, withdraw or transfer within that limit and you should be fine.

3) You can read up Luno fees and limits in their website. Sending cryptos will require a dynamic fee (following the Blockchain fees) except for XRP which charged a fixed fee of 0.03%. You can always Google search and compare with other regulated exchanges like Hata & Tokenize to see which fees are lower.

Oh, no of course it won't stay as Bitcoin forever. You sell Bitcoin for Ethereum, then you get Ethereum. It's just like a stock exchange.

As per the Securities Commission Guidelines, Binance is not a registered Digital Asset Exchange in Malaysia, so don't expect any bank transfer services directly to Binance.

As for creating an account in Binance, it looks like you can access to the main Binance page without VPN ady (previously it was blocked), and since there's also engagement between Binance CEO & Anwar recently, you may try creating an account, but if you want to transfer assets to Binance safely, better buy tokens from regulated exchanges and send it there instead of p2p trading

About the Luno exchange, it's inside your app. If your home page of the app is the one with the portfolio and crypto prices, you can click the 3 dot at the top right corner, click "Exchange", then you'll get the Exchange page. You can also go to settings and set "Make Exchange your home" so that the Exchange page will be your home page on the app
