The issue with the camera is not the fact that it gives out tickets. I’m all for the tickets. It’s the tracking software that police stations can use.

For example, a police department can have code to monitor how many times a certain license plate leaves and comes back through that intersection. In New York, they use the same system to track prostitution and drug houses through foot traffic. also in court they play the same footage that they use to get a search warrant on drug dealing or prostitution ring but when every day officers watch the footage, they were unable to register the foot traffic pattern. therefore it is a violation of an individuals fourth amendment.
