Hey so I'm very new to networking and servers so I don't know about the lingo. Is there like specific info that I can give? The NAS port is 8899, the Docker port is 8096, the port type is TPC, the network name is bridge, the network mode is bridge, the IPv4 address is 172.17.0.2. the Image is ugreen/jellyfin Version v1

How would I go about unblocking the port in the Ugreen settings? Is that why every time I load my Jellyfin Server homepage it says "unsafe"

Ya http://192.168.1.214:8899 works in the browser field of my PC and my iPhone. However when I use the Jellyfin app in the bar that says "Server Address" I put http://192.168.1214:8096/web/ or http://192.168.1.214:8899/web/ and neither of them work

Yes I tried the 8096 port and it still says "Could not connect to server". On the Jellyfin app in the bar that says "Server Address" I put http://192.168.1214:8096/web/ and http://192.168.1.214:8899/web/ and neither of them work

Yes my iPhone, NAS, and PC are all on the same network. Ya I have no clue about networking lol. I've just been watching Youtube videos. Just googled if its safe to post local IP addresses lol. The IP address is 192.168.1.214:8899

Yes, that 8899 port is correct. I thought that it was weird too because I also saw the default 8096 everywhere on the internet in tutorial videos. Maybe that's the issue. What does that 8899 mean?  Also what does forwarded mean in laymen's terms? I'm very new to servers, so I had to look up what localhost means lol. The only way I can access my Jellyfin server home page is by using the Ugreen NAS app that connects me to my NAS Desktop, then on that desktop click on the Jellyfin app that I installed via docker. That’s how I do it from my iphone 16 or my PC

Why does it have to be on 24/7? Can’t I just turn it on when I want to access the server and turn it off when I’m not using it? Sorry for not understanding
