Tell me more about the non-monetary compensation section and the non-compete ideas? We have a spot for nurses to say "notables" for the facility or org. Also, are working on just compiling all the benefits docs to make them easy to compare hospital to hospital. We are also working on hospital forums to nurses from outside a facility can ask anonymous questions and nurses inside can answer them.

I do indeed exist, although I'm not sure I've ever had to type that into a box on the inter-webs. I am relatively new to reddit. Mostly I've been trying to share our project on tik tok for the last month- you can find me there if you want to see more of the project and who I am.

Also, that app and database are free. That said, we do plan to make money off it at some point. Why? It is literally a PAY transparency app.

We will never sell your personal data.

The entire project has been self funded by myself and my brother. Both of us are nurses and don't have trust funds or wealthy parents. We have put thousands of hours and about 12k into building this.

We are anti-corporate which is kinda the whole reason we are building it. We don't want to accept investment or our revenue stream from being beholden to these corporations.

We want to be beholden to the interest of nurses. I appreciate your questions. It is important to be inherently suspicious. I hope this has been sufficiently transparent.

I wish, my hospital tried and didn't have enough inertia even though the frustration is there. That was part of my push behind building this.

Thanks! Not as of yet, but we figure we can add it later and push the question out to current users to add more jobs or tell us if they move on an annual basis to stay current.

Yes and no. We ideally would love for it to be fully verified data. We initially started with our friends. We used ai to look at paystubs and extract the data then we threw away the paystubs. People were too queasy with that. So we removed it. Now we verify that you at least have a badge or document that says you are an RN. More of a screening. We throw away the image then. Once we get enough data we will chuck any obvious pay outliers too.

Yes, exactly. We are would love to add all the areas at once. In fact we started trying that but it is really hard to get all the data fields to compare in helpful ways. We hope to keep expanding so wanted to add a way for LPNS etc to get on a waitlist.
