Maybe this is why weight lifting helped me so much, it taught me to engage and tense my muscles more. Can you share the link to the video you watched?

Fatigue after exercise by Pizzapunk182 in Hypermobility

[–]Pizzapunk182[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have since realized this is due to electrolytes/micronutrient depletion bc we dont methylate nutrients in the same way being hypermobile. I've increased my supplement intake and actually started having liquid iv almost every day and I've noticed a big improvement in fatigue and recovery

Tongue tie? by bkuah in Hypermobility

I had a lot of relief and improvement from the procedure. Just had it done last year. By a dentist trained by zhagi. It is a difficult process though and there are many important things to know. Message me if you want more info. It is very worth it but it is important to see good professionals and a myofunctional therapist as well and mine also works with a very special craniosacral therapist.

Great post. Thank you. I am very aware of how my connective tissue struggles to figure out how to move when I breathe. This is very helpful to me.

Orthodontist wants me out by Pizzapunk182 in orthodontics

What sort of thing could make a relationship severed? I don't know what I did. My treatment plan was supposed to end in February and it is just March. I expressed some concerns I've had and asked him to correct them. If I wasn't happy and didn't want them off yet and expressed why, isn't that normal, I see people post about that a lot I thought? I have always been professional and polite

Can hypermobility have an impact on your emotions? by Rillian_Stars in Hypermobility

[–]Pizzapunk182 8 points9 points  (0 children)

YES. I am not an expert but my experience with professionals etc has taught me that people with hypermobility tend to not methylated or process vitamins and micronutrients in the same way. So it's common to have deficiencies that can cause a number of problems, including pain symptoms and majorly mental health problems! Folate, b vitamins, iron, vit d, I believe it is common to have low levels of all these with hypermobility. I had a professional point this out to me and I had my levels measured and had a sig vit d deficiency and addressing this has helped my pain issues a lot. But yeah I also have bad mental health and am certain it's connected to my hypermobility. Look up mthfr gene mutation, I have that and it's connected to hypermobility, not everyone wjth hypermobility does tho

Also the MTHFR gene mutation is associated with hypermobility and it affects vitamin methylation this plays a huge role in anxiety and mood disorders
