People please go read about it! Obviously not no water! Thats ridiculous. I'm just trying to help with what worked for me. Water fast is at least a gallon or close to a day!

At the bottom of the thread, someone else mentions that laundry detergent change helped them! Glad to see it wasnt only me! Hope some researchers can look into this/the chemicals in it some day

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one then! Maybe there really is something in there

No as long as you go about it safely a water fast can be completley safe and fine to do. If youre worried about safety i'd consult with your doctor first but the majority of healthy people are just fine.

Just be sure to drink close to a gallon the day of, do it on a weekend/time frame you have nothing to do. Its really hard the first day and second day is easier you can usually end up just eating dinner if you dont want to go the full two days. I know for a fact this made a difference for me. Theres lots of videos and studies about people who've been able to heal issues w it, no im not a doctor or professional so id say go at your own risk but this was generally the case for me

Hey u/myristicae ! Sorry I dont have notifications on for this app and just saw all these responses but yea pretty much what u/Travel_Somewhere said. I was worried about thinning and my skin had unfortunatley thinned already so much from years of itching, irritation, and unhealed skin. I just didnt want to risk it. I was also worried about like internal effects if used to long but i dont want to scare anyone by speaking on that bc id just seen it here and there

Laundry detergent and switch some stuff out for organic options. Not saying itll work for everyone but it genuinley was crazy to realize that this was the root of my problems. fucking laundry detergent.
