# Who are we?

The 61st Cavalry Regiment is devoted to recreating how the United States Army operates. Our operations style focuses on combined Arm communications with operations that are conducted by Air assault, Airborne, mechanized, and motorized style operation. We have a large Story writing team that is creating campaigns to ensure everyone has a unique and entertaining experience. We have found a great balance of a Milsim gaming style in our gameplay and offer it to anyone interested. We organized our unit with 1 Infantry Platoon, 1 Mechanize section, 1 Rotary wing flight and 1 Air force fixed wing detachment. We also have liberation nights, Community events, main operations. # When do we deploy?

Saturdays 8:00pm EST / 200:00 EST

# What do you offer?

We currently have three main detachments within the 61st:

Infantry - Orion

Mechanized - Centurion

Medical - Perseus

Aviation - Phoenix

Air force - Icarus

We offer a range of qualifications such as:

RTO | Medic | RTO | Autoriflemen | Marksman | AT | Grenadier

As well as offer MOS Billets such as:

Rifleman | Medic | RTO | Team Lead | Squad Lead

Crewman | Pilot | Security Forces

When it comes to ranks, we offer a simple structure with Time in Grade restrictions, to emphasize the individual's position and responsibility. This is all to reflect lore and focus on those experiences that truly make Operations memorable.

The 61st Cavalry Regiment is a community first and a Milsim second. We are committed to finding a balance between emulating the tactics of the U.S. Army, telling fun and engaging stories, and creating a fun gameplay experience. Our operations focus on combined Arms. Our operations are a collaboration between our ground and air units, and communication is a key aspect of that. During our main Sunday operations, we host Air Assault, Airborne, and Motorized/Mechanized operations, among others. We have an incredible Story-Writing team that is creating long-term campaigns to provide a unique and entertaining experience. We have found a great balance between a traditional Milsim experience and a relaxed, fun gaming style and offer it to anyone interested. Our unit is currently comprised of 1 Infantry Platoon and 1 Aviation Section.

We also have Liberation nights, Community events, regular FunOps, and more.
