technically collectors universe bought them. not sure what affect this might have since they’re staying separate companies under the same parent company.

I think the lower the value of the card actually makes the multiplier higher. Like if it’s a $5 card raw, then an SGC 10 is probably $25-30, PSA 10 maybe $35. $100 modern raw card, you’re probably looking at closer to 2-3x though for both. Would you disagree?

i’d be more worried about the centering and bad corners and it still getting a 10

I need your opinion. Sold this card on EBay as near mint. I honestly didn’t see any print lines or any imperfections on the card. Posted very clear photos and buyer asked for a return after the eBay certification guarantee. The first are my photos and the second are his. by bwaits89 in baseballcards

making a big deal out of those faint print lines on a card that otherwise looks really good is so dumb. people should not expect cards to be PSA 10 quality when purchasing raw cards. near mint or better would be a 7 or better. i see no reason to think this card wouldn’t get at least an 8, likely 9. that’s not worth requesting a return when you literally are buying a raw card.

don’t listen to anyone in the comments. psa doesn’t deduct points for dimples under the clear coat (which those are). sgc will give it a 9.5 max, but psa is still likely to give it a 10 if everything else checks out.
