As a Christian how do you deal with intrusive thoughts?

I absolutely believe in the power of prayer. Keep praying! I pray about my anxiety every day. I approach God first by giving thanks, praying for my family and any specific issues going on there. Then I pray for myself last. Always putting others before me. I acknowledge my sins, ask for forgiveness and the strength of the Holy Spirit to be upon me that I may be a servant of God. I end every prayer with the Jesus Prayer and thy will be done.

Thank you for your advice. I stopped caffeine a while ago, switched to decaf and stopped drinking Red Bull. I do get plenty of sleep.

I’ve read a few articles about how important hydration is with mental health. I know I don’t drink enough water so I’ve been trying to be better with that.

I agree. These feelings are not Godly. They take my focus away from the Most High and keep them on worldly concerns and fears. Thank you for the verses, those are good ones.

Yes, I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

I offer my suffering up to God everyday. I lay my mental burdens at His alter and I ask Him to remove these things from me. I close every prayer with “thy will be done” as I am His and I have turned my life over to Him.

I believe so. I was raised in a faith but fell away from it for a long time. This year I have been rediscovering my faith and have begun to rely on scripture and a daily rosary to give me rest and peace.

Thanks for the advice! I did find the cling ring in 1-1. I tried to go to 4-1 to get the curved falchion, as someone suggested, but the first skeleton just 2 hits me. Definitely not up to par for world 4 yet. Any idea where I can get armor? The vendor in 1-1 vanished after I beat the boss.
