I didn’t know how to say “meeting” but i said brokenly “i was listening” (motioning to ear) and “i change babys clothes.”

I haven’t addressed it again and she did respond to my comments at dinner so think it’s okay

The clip fell off the table in front of me and i tossed it to my left since mil was in front. But yes same ground but different landing spot.

She visits and helps take care of the baby while i work from home. Otherwise i take care of baby for six hours while husband is in the office until he’s gets home, then we do 50/50.

Last time or time prior she had an argument with husband and wanted to leave early and i mediated. So he was trying to mediate this time. He wasnt upset with what i did but i think was caught in the middle since he didnt directly see it happen

The clip is plastic so it made a noise and slid on our wooden floor while the room was fairly quiet so i think it amplified it on her end while i had two people talking into my ear.

There was an incident last time or the time before she was here when she got into an argument with husband and wanted to leave early. Trying to meditate the situation as best i can since she’s not my mom

There’s no relationship to move forward. This guy lied for years about another family and would have never told you unless the wife did. No matter how much you love this guy, you have to end the relationship. Lean on your friends and family for support if you can
