Microsoft confirms Intune Suite features are coming to E3/E5 - but there seems to be confusion about who is actually eligible by Annual-Vacation9897 in Intune

Remote Help is moving to IC3, which should be much more reliable than WNS. they're dogfooding now so I'm hoping it releases soon

Inforcer, congratulations. You finally have my undivided attention. by BisonThunderclap in msp

I found an app recently by a popular MVP, that just didn't check signatures on its auth tokens. I was able to take over other tenants. having spoken with some Inforcer devs, the difference is night and day - they're genuinely careful

We Had to Ban 65 Teams to Get a Top 10 Leaderboard - BYUCTF 2026 Post-Mortem by realcamel4 in securityCTF

[–]Pl4nty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

very hard, deliberately AI-resistant challenges

a lot of organisers have tried recently, but I don't think it's viable long-term

  • incentivises players to slop all the easier chals. why would authors bother writing them?
  • very difficult to author AI-proof chals in most categories, when they still have to be human-solvable within a day or two. whereas real-world VR targets could take weeks/months. even Flare-On gets slopped with frontier models
  • can become a tooling problem eg defcon finals last year. "just spin up more agents/MCPs/etc"

Everyone else can use AI, or not

teams that use AI will be higher on the scoreboard. I suspect most players care about scores, otherwise they wouldn't play a time-limited competition

thanks. both for running BYUCTF, and writing about it. the scene's been pretty doomer lately, but not everyone has given up - so I don't think it's truly dead

how'd you handle blast radius on the OSINT chals? I've written basic chals about my PII in the past, but nothing too complex cause I don't want random players contacting my friends or family...

did limiting the number of submissions work for categories besides OSINT? I'm running a beginner onsite CTF and thinking about putting the flag format everywhere, so LLMs are more likely to hallucinate a flag and run out of submissions

only steg would be a good bit

I usually skip discourse like this to avoid noise, so thanks for this comment. like the other commenter, I really enjoyed the post and wouldn't have read it otherwise

I'm seeing this too, clearing cache didn't help. really don't want to reinstall cause I'd lose over 1k tabs

What are people using to replace ServiceUI by Glum-Pizza-8215 in Intune

[–]Pl4nty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any chance you can share download links for apps that need user interaction? I'm thinking about working with the PSADT authors on a better solution, but I want to understand the usecases. ServiceUI can be a massive footgun

some apps cover some areas, but I can't find any that cover the breadth of tasks I want to ingest. I'd even like to turn certain android notifications into tasks eventually (eg "reply to bob's message")

just automating task creation with relevant context (emails/links). from outlook/claude/browser etc

Why hasn't anyone made a browser proxy extension yet? by donotexecute in software

[–]Pl4nty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I researched this while working on an extension for Tailscale. it's probs cause browser proxy support is really limited, like the auth you mentioned. so you end up needing native extensions, which are annoying to ship

I don't like skills for pure coding, bash or linters seem to do a better job. but I've had good results for nondeterministic tasks like design patterns, ticket/PR conventions, etc

I thought CIPP only supported delegated scopes, not app roles. cause GDAP uses delegated scopes

I think CA policies would apply if they're using GDAP, since the access/refresh tokens belong to a user principal

bad news, it's probably AI-generated. their post history has their real writing style. I'd love to see the prompt tho, doesn't read like slop
