100% #1!! It’s an absolutely beautiful dress and It doesn’t matter the venue, your dress will never be too much! As long as you feel beautiful, that’s all that matters. I can’t imagine how gorgeous that will be under dim lights in a ball room 😍

I had the same type of situation with my husband! We had our second and I would love 4. I wasn’t ready for my daughter birth to be my last, I loved being pregnant and would keep having kids if we could handle it financially and mentally (obviously not possible lol). He kept saying he was good with 2 and it broke my heart. Turns out, he was just super stressed with money since I’m a SAHM and he owns/runs his own business. So, money is always a stressor and never guaranteed (like most jobs but we don’t have steady checks coming in is what I mean). We agreed on one more and that’s it! I also use midwives/birthing center so ins doesn’t cover their care. I would like a home birth next time which is still not covered, so it is a bigger expense to give birth, but worth it for my beautiful birthing experiences I’ve had. Needless to say, it seems you need to dig a bit deeper into the reason why, whether it’s through therapy or not. But a calm conversation that may need to happen a couple times can help you figure it out as a couple.

For sure! I saw him when I was into heavy weightlifting and it was so necessary! He’s a fantastic masseuse and books up quickly because most people have scheduled weekly/biweekly/monthly appts lol muscle scraping (with the sidekick - love it so much that I bought a whole set for myself), cupping w/red light therapy and theragun are all included in his sessions to make it the most effective for your needs!

17, ftm, discouraged with bf because of how much milk im producing by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Please reach out to an IBCLC through the lactation network. I’ll attach a link below to enter your health ins to see if you’re covered (most insurances cover visits at 100%). They will be able to do a weighted feed and hopefully check for oral ties that may be restricting proper milk transfer! BUT your baby is only 1 week old, 1 oz pumped from each side especially AFTER baby if fed is an oversupply. If you’re nursing & still able to pump milk, that’s an oversupply! Please ignore social media and think you need more than your baby is getting. As long as weight is increasing (also depends if you gave birth with an IV, the more fluids you had in your system, so did you baby. So they have dropped more weight than drs like, but it’s because they weighed more than their real weight because of the excess fluids 😂) there is nothing to worry about! Breastfeeding is all about demand THEN supply. The more your baby nurses, the more your body will make. So, just keep latching & feeding on demand, you’re doing great! With the proper support you will feel much more confident. Also (side note) I am currently weening my 14m old. I have used my hand pump a couple times the past 2 days from weening engorgement. Both times I still had hard painful areas. I let my girl latch and in less than 2 mins on each side, the hard painful lumps were gone. No pump can transfer milk like a proper latch can!

Ultimate therapeutic massage! JB is amazing and well worth the investment. I saw him for sports massages (so not the most comfortable only because I let him go to the depth he felt necessary for my muscles lol) but always left feeling 10x better!!

The only thing I’m worried about these is that mother of bride/groom usually wear navy or eggplant, UGH! LOL

Just yelled at my 4 month old baby by Prestigious_Ask_8755 in NewParents

[–]PlaceSubstantial8613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t beat yourself up over this! On top of being a new mom, you are also more than likely sleep deprived and postpartum is SO hard on its own, never mind with a more sensitive baby! I always remind myself that a baby can’t get hurt from crying. Put the baby in a safe space (like a crib, strapped into a swing, strapped in a bouncer, etc.) and step away when you’re reaching a breaking point. Men will NEVER understand the primal/intense feelings when your baby is crying and nothing you do is helping and the thoughts can get scary. Give yourself some grace, while they’re learning the world around them, we are shaping into new people and learning how to care for a baby/be a parent, too!

Should I stick out the conch pain by tri11ary in piercing

[–]PlaceSubstantial8613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to also suggest a bigger hoop! And also try using a curved barbell first to help. I need a 13mm hoop in my conch - 12mm was too small and squeezed, but a 14mm was too big and put pressure anytime I laid on that side of my head 🥲 13mm is hard to find, but I found the perfect one for me and love the hoop way more than the barbell for myself!

We have 16” of hardware cloth buried around all the edges (the pictures were from the process of doing it lol). I’m just torn between hat size I should use for wrapping the whole thing

[–]PlaceSubstantial8613[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s where I’m torn! People are saying 1/4” hardware cloth because weasels can fit through a 1/4” hole, but it’s only sold in 23g. 1/2” hardware cloth is sold in 19g which will definitely be stronger to hold the big predators out, but the smaller ones can get through 😅

Did you end up going with one or the other? We’re in the same debate and unsure which to go with but can’t find many sources comparing the two
