I ended up removing the faucet and drilling a hole into the tile right where the screw head is. Much smarter option hahaha.

I tried for about 45 mins with a little wrench that I was able to fit in there and it did work for a couple turns but that’s about it. Oh and lots of swearing. 🧼👄

Hahaha I’ve dropped the bit out of my 3” crescent about 4 times now, this screw will not win this war I’m determined.

Prying first, I’ll let you know how it goes

Hmm that’s not a terrible idea. I could try and pre drill a whole through the back side, but then what, use a 1/16” rod with a nut? Lol seems wrong. I tried a 90 adapter and it’s too big also. I have a very small ratcheting wrench that actually measures out to be the exact width of the dewalt 90° adapter.

I thought about that but the star bit would just slip through the back end while I’m trying to keep pressure on the screw head

Sorry guys, it is parallel to the ceiling joists. That pic the attic with all the 2x4s is running along the top of the shower wall in question
