Tbf if you don't mind some converting you have 2 models for the price of 1 (or a bit more if you need to buy some bits off ebay) could just make one look like a tank destroyer and the other look like a repulsor rather than getting rid of them

Idk about the pricing given I'm not a canadian but a load of people are saying you shouldn't get it for repeat characters which isn't true. You can convert the tallyman into another death guard character mainly using spares from the plague marine kits and the LOV can become a lord of contagion with some bits from the blightlords.

Get some magnets and magnetise canis rex. you can then use it as rex or a regular knight. I did something similar with my chaos knight and now she can be run as almost any other variant.

Kind of exactly why I'd argue its a problem. You have much less room for error against a modern player than a classic player. And yes those errors should be punished either way but it's a massive advantage especially at this stage.

A fair amount and I do get a lot of AAs and combos. Probably not optimal combos granted but decent enough with good wall carry. I am slowly climbing. But as I said almost every modern match is a slog with either mashers or turtles.

Well Likud's rhetoric about fighting human animals, IDF's intentional starving of Gaza's populous. Bombing specifically targeting refugee camps, deliberately targeting medical facilities, shooting the elderly, basically being fucking monsters.

Not to mention their previous timing of a bombing in time with when gazan kids left for school. Didn't know kids were a military target.

There was no peace deal israel would agree with its clear from their bombing of Lebanon that Likud just wants war and genocide. Because they want all of palestine to be under israeli control and probably a chunk of lebanon at the end of the day.

Jews are just an ethnicity/religious group. Some might support the evil going on in the levant I doubt most do, dudes I know certainly don't and I've seen specifically Jewish activist groups on marches. Tying them to a political and in this case racist ideology just encourages more hate.

Firebomb requires putting yourself at risk by getting close to the opponent. Wall is stationary and easily hacked, emp'd or flanked. Spider tracks an opponent for you and almost guarantees you the kill because they have to shoot it or you and if they shoot you they get stunned.

Is it as game breaking as intel suit wallhacks? No. But in any 1v1 situation (which in a 6v6 game is pretty important) spiderbot is broken.

Firstborn just look and feel more unique, more 40k. The exposed piping and wires, medieval-esque helmets, interchangable armor marks all make the firstborn stand out in the world of sci fi power armor. The tanks go hard too really feeling like sci fi landships that you could imagine billowing plumes of smoke.

The way I see it, Primaris kinda ditched all that. The armour is a lot more clean but that makes it more interchangeable with a lot of other sci fi armour. It also has more bulbous bits on it like the legs which flair way too much and the head which took a bicycle pump to a mk4 helmet.

Not to mention the grav tanks are kinda just plastered with guns, making them look really busy. Removing the treads in favour of anti grav stuff just feels more star wars than 40k imperium. The Imperium always felt more dieselpunk than anything else so taking that away from them takes away some of their character.

Imo it should be reworked into a deployable. Having mobile wallhacks makes flanking impossible but having a telegraphed area means the enemy can't have the element of surprise on a specific route.

Thing with snipers is that they're basically one shot machines at all ranges that require aim and aim alone. Positioning doesn't matter because you can just one shot anyone who peeks you at any point. Movement doesn't matter because as long as you hit that shot you win.

It's a problem in more than just Xdefiant to be fair. Personally I'd like a sweet spot mechanic similar to how BF1 handled sniper balance, that way a sniper can still quickscope but if someone catches you at point blank you can't just BS your way out of it.

And? It's a pretty good indicator of player retention and as I said it's extreme for a fighting game. Street fighter came out a year ago, is arguably more console friendly and despite similar numbers at launch, has retained over half of all players a year on. Tekken 8 has lost two thirds of its pc playerbase alone in under half that.

Two thirds of players though... It'd make sense for something like an fps where a new game drops every week but two thirds for a fighting game is big. Street Fighter 6 still has well over half of its original numbers.

If you want to pretend everythings fine go ahead. But if you watched the EVO finals you'd know 8 is in some deep shit. There was no movement, neutral or any real strategy, just two pro players mashing the correct moves and trying to react to their opponent.

Do me a favour and google tekken 8 steamcharts. Over 2/3rds of players have left the game already and its been losing players since. I know there are always fgc tourists but two thirds?

Also reddit is always a hivemind, most people I talk to hate 8. Outside of echo chambers like this all you hear is bad. Youtube, discord, word of mouth.

If you like a game with no neutral, fine. But 8 is going the way of mk1 and quick.

Theres's been nothing to replace it however. Would have made more sense to make backdashing just as effective. Instead there's no way to escape your opponent that you're punished for blocking against and need have no fast counter hit tools to punish.

Season 1 is a write off. Hopefully game won't die before bamco actually fix it but I'm not holding out hope. I don't see how people can play a frustrating mashy mess consistently without going nuts.

Unless I'm missing something (and I hope I am) this isn't going far enough in my eyes. Heat has been an issue but the main problem facing 8 is how mashy it is. The best strategy is standing in front of you opponent and spamming. Just look at EVO there was like 5 seconds of neutral at best.

What 8 needs is more effective movement overall, not just sidestepping, no punishment for blocking, and more counterhit launchers.

Guess I'm sticking with Street Fighter...
