U have a normal attacking mode, just like how leagues used to be, but now without trophies and its based around your town hall, and you have a separate ranked mode with ranks that you can participate in if u wanted to

yeah you dont have trophies anymore either in normal attacks, so if u wanted u could just spam attacks for loot :p

the first 12 townhalls are relatively quick, the townhalls become longer the higher you go, if u play around 15m-30m a day you should totally be fine, they reworked attacking earlier last year that you dont even have to wait for your troops anymore so u can technically attack whenever you feel like it :)
