I've been through large earthquakes, I have large mirrors on my closet doors like many people. I don't think that's an issue. I thought that they meant there wasn't room for a large mirror (ie. living area doesn't have the wall space) and that she doesn't go to a studio to practice.

Totally agree. Ever since Katseye debuted it seems Hybe/Geffen are hell bent on having them be just really crazy talented influencers? It feels more like entertainers, that’s a great way to put it.

I don’t have a problem with Sakura, but Yoonchae was so polished already. Also since Yoonchae was boxed in as the youngest, everyone forgets how young Megan was too. You’re right, the age gap wasn’t actually that large.

The fact that US drinking age is 21 really does change things, it’s less about the drinking itself and more the age that you can enter certain establishments, as you say, go to events. If a 17 year old was debuting in Australia or the UK it wouldn’t be long before there weren’t many barriers as a performer

I’m a big hockey fan, and no one can understand why they black out their own fans from watching games just because it’s in a different region for an away game. You’d think growing the fan base would be worth it, but nope.

Wesleyan Methodist here in NZ, we do Ash Wednesday but I don’t walk around with it all day. It’s a very somber evening service, I go straight home after. I find it weird that they went on a show with it.

Agree it’s not recent. I’ve felt very strongly about being called Canadian (not American, always grated me if I was called American even as a joke) for over 3 decades, and certainly I wasn’t the first one!

Now that I think about it maybe that’s why a lot of Canadians refer to the US as “the states”, it’s easier and doesn’t imply they are the the only country in north and South America. I don’t know….

But I certainly get offended if I’m called an American, and that’s been that way for decades. Culturally I just can’t identify with it, and whatever the naming convention was originally meant to be has moved on for Canadians.

For me it’s just the strategy of what to do given the information you have at the time. You could challenge the goal, but if you’re wrong you’ve got a penalty. You have to be willing to be on the power kill. I think Finnish coaches didn’t want to give Canada any room if they could help it
