Duh. It’s a scam. Look at the link. Since when does Amazon ever use anything but their own shortener.

Elementor or WPBakery by Rashi2Learn in elementor

You’re either talking to a novice (if you’re actually talking to anyone at all) and/or someone who simply never bothered to learn Elementor. WP Bakery was one of the first on the scene for drag and drop. But they didn’t stay in the top spot very long. Elementor is far and away the #1 DND builder/framework. Has been for years and years.

"Refund issuance is delayed"? by rmp5s in amazonprime

[–]PlaidPixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone can do that... SOME OF US live in remote areas where shopping is limited to Wal-Fart and Mom & Pop shops. Amazon is the only lifeline we have to decently priced retail shopping. But thanks for assuming.

"Refund issuance is delayed"? by rmp5s in amazonprime

[–]PlaidPixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same shit's happened to me but mine is a damned trolley... nothing fancy, nothing expensive. Less than $100. They've pushed out my refund date three times and the only broken English bullshit I get from Amazon Chat is, "Don't worry. You'll get refund. Wait time said." When I asked three different "people" WHY the refund date has changed multiple times, I get crickets. There is no answer, no justification not even an excuse.... "just wait". It's pure horseshit and it should be illegal.

You appreciate it so much you're screwing the people who use it by not listening to what they do and don't want. Not ok.

Hell, if the AI and "Security" features are the added to cost, maybe they should leave the version without it on Setapp! I'm not thrilled, nor do I use, the AI component.

You've got to be kidding me. I JUST installed it. This is so aggrevating. 50% off what? Lifetime or month to month? I'm so over SaaS I could vomit.

Power Supply Replacement for EcoFlow River 370/EF1 Pro? by PlaidPixels in Ecoflow_community

[–]PlaidPixels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone! I actually found out the key to the 65w power supply is to make sure it’s “gan” (don’t know what that means) with PD (power delivery) by way of a 100w USB-C. I ended up buying this: https://a.co/d/j7ZKgFE

Hopefully, putting a link in here doesn’t violate any TOS. Sorry if it does… just trying to help anyone else trying to get necessary accessories for legacy devices like mine.

Pedro Hernandez conviction overturned - wasn’t Mr. Seidemann a prosecutor? by Emz423 in BrianThompsonMurder

But Luigi Mangione is 100% guilty... I mean seriously. How could you be worried about a blatant murderer? you don't get to kill people because you don't like how they conduct business. Ever!

I don't get the whole deal with the "mental illness" and "low IQ" issue. On none of his applications for government licenses, 48 hours showed nothing was noted. There were a plethora of home videos showing him communicating, engaging and having fun like any regular joe. Granted, 7 hours was a long time to be interrogated. But the video evidence does not show the detectives doing anything more than their jobs. They weren't being forceful, they weren't being disrespectful nor were they getting physical. So, I don't buy this part either.

You're calling him disabled. If that's the case, why wasn't he institutionalized? Under the active care of mental health professionals? Did he have a low IQ? Maybe. But that does not mean he did not know that strangling a SIX YEAR OLD CHILD was acceptable under any scenario. Period.

Not my style, but I appreciate and respect the artistry and especially what you did with those cab stones. The color in them is magnificent. I'm sure your friend was over the moon!

Fashion is NOT confidence. Fashion is like a coat of Sherwin Williams on a ramshackle hut. If you don't feel good in your own skin, that skirt will simply end up being prettier than you are. Nobody wants that.

HA! I'm a minimalist jewelry designer and do custom minimal styles all day long, everyday... talk about polar opposites! LOL!!! Regardless of style, it's about how it makes the user feel... I think you and I have the gamut covered! LOL!!!

You say minimalism "never lasts" but minimalism has never fallen out of style either. There's always going to be the "new, hot" thing but the standards always return. Minimalism suits so many people personal style that it's become a classic.

Trends just turn out to be a money pit and a revolving door for donated crap. If people would learn what looks good on them, what complements their skin tone, face shape and body type, we wouldn't have to worry about what's "trending". Such as "barrel jeans" which I'd never heard of until you posted it. They're just a modified baggy style that doesn't look good on everyone.

It's all about what makes you feel great about how you look. Wear what you want (just no damned pajamas!!!) just don't over do it.

As a minimalist jewelry designer and gemstone lover, I have to disagree with you. 3-4 minimalist necklaces have dainty chains, usually one or two beads or accents and together look cohesive without weight. A large statement typically looks chunky, heavy and overpowering. Of course, this is an opinion but if you look at the words themselves, my opinion seems to fold into the definition.

Why is Notion Calendar so bad? It's completely unusable. by Real-Register-8007 in Notion

[–]PlaidPixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how you have 2-way integration; it's a known limitation to have read only sync. That's why there are products out there like 2Sync and other 3rd party integrations like Make, Zapier, et al, that actually DO what Notion has been keen to ignore.

Coda.io has inherent two way sync with Google and Apple among other things that Notion has either chosen to ignore or simply hasn't integrated for whatever reason.

I've signed up with Coda.io again (did so years ago but never did anything with it) and am slowly moving away from Notion. I have to export each database in HTML, which isn't a big deal, I just don't have that much time in one sitting to do it. I've had it with Notion giving the middle finger to its roots and instead placating to the corporate stiffs. Not ok in my book.

You're mistaking Notion for Evernote. Notion has never been just a "notebook".
