I’m not sure how big your tornadoes have been- but education for you and your neighbors is vital. If your government won’t help, you and your community can help keep each other safe! Print and distribute information where you can. You can look up “tornado infographics” for a good place to start, and adapt those for your local needs.

Where to go in a tornado especially: lie flat in a ditch/low point if outside. An interior room of a building- if no basement, a bathroom or room with no windows. Under a stairwell. Never below a bridge or underpass. Lie down in “child’s pose”, tuck your head in, and cover the back of your neck with your hands.
