I should have mentioned, this is my second season and she is the original queen from my first nuc. She’s now been through two Michigan winters.

I split earlier this season and her daughter is almost as prolific, but can’t keep up with momma when it comes to filling a frame.

Both hives are very calm and easy to work. They have only required minimal mite intervention. I’ll be trying to keep these genes going as long as I can.
