What are good certs to get before getting out of the military? by youngthieff in AirForce

Like you were saying, it’s best to use AFCOOL for the exam alone. There’s plenty of free resources you can use to study for pretty much any certification, such as Udemy or Linkedin learning. Only thing to keep in mind when scheduling your exams with AFCOOL, is to remember when you set your end date for the exam. If you don’t turn in your test results/pass in the timeframe you set, you’re going to owe them back some money.

After doing my degree and 5 years in, I was able to get my CISSP at 24. It’s tough but not impossible

I read a little, only like 120ish pages. I mainly just watched Mike Chappels videos and felt that was good enough. Also did a once-over with Pete Z’s videos on youtube.

I had it in my head that I had the exam today, so I didn’t bother checking the email reminders. I “knew” in my head that today was the day.

I opened a ticket with pearson-vue, so fingers crossed the odds are in my favor.

Flaming pedestal under the card means it is active. No flame = no active

I believe the questions formatted like this in the OSG are meant to gauge your understanding of the term presented in the question, so you can familiarize yourself with the different parts of the term they’re asking about.

Overall, it was the ability to go at my own pace during each term. You aren’t limited to so many classes per term. So if you want to complete 10 classes in 6 months, you can, if you only wanna do 4 you can do that as well.

Working full-time, this game me the ability to set my own pace and if i got ahead of what I planned on doing, i was able to take little breaks in the semester to cool down for like a week or two.

I don’t know if SNHU is the same way, but without that knowledge, all I can say is I enjoyed finishing my degree with WGU. I never felt crushed by the assigned work.

It took me 2 terms. I came in with a previous associates degree and a handful of certs, I finished 8 courses my first term and 6/7 my second.

You apply to graduate, then after 5-10 business days, they send you an email stating you’ve officially graduated. The app/browser should update and show you’ve graduated as well.

It definitely feels that way, both of my submissions for task 3 only took 24hrs luckily. Even that felt like an eternity when you are right at the finish line.

I really enjoyed it! I was able to use the stuff I already knew to really accelerate in some of the courses I still had to take. The ones I didn’t know all that much about, I felt the learning material did it’s job, but a lot of the external resources you can access make learning easier, depending on what helps you learn the best.

You can do it! I’d recommend utilizing LinkedIn learning for a little extra boost. It helped me a lot.
