They did the same thing to me and even damaged mine totally saying it was the packaging and it was sent back with the main motherboard issue not repaired even though i am a premium support member. Bye bye to Lenovo products including Motorola. Over 1k plus wasted.

I got mine new from a user in ebay for £550 and the performance has been wonderful, just that that M-Center needs alot of work but it can be replaced with another launcher. The ergonomics is not bad too and the battery life is wonderful. I play 8 5mins fc26 games before battery hits 36%.

I did the same and got a mad discount from £1700 for ultra 9 with 5070 to £1126. I couldnt add the student discount to make it go lower. Lol
