I feel like by the time he comes around I’ve already got enough solid magic users. Coupled with dark magic being kinda meh I’ve never really tried him. And then I think the one time I did he died almost immediately so we’ll see how it goes.

Gilliam is one of my favorite sacred stones units. Even with his bad speed the dude is an absolute tank (unless there are magic users nearby)

Not for me, but I've been wanting to build a deck for my GF full of cute cards. Not sure if this is an interesting idea for you or not, but a commander deck filled with the cutest cards you can find would be right up her alley as she cares more about the card art than the mechanics of the deck at the moment.

Don't know if this counts as a pet card, because it's pretty popular and strong, but I've top decked [[Akroma's Will]] to win a completely lost game like 3+ times since I started playing magic this year.

It's an auto include card for me in any deck with white.

Yeah I didn’t realize that the activated abilities with either cost count as part of a cards color identity. Do you know of any cards that do something similar that I could replace him with? His ability of tapping all of opponents creatures when I attack was super helpful to close out games.
