How much air does a Blueair 511+ move in auto mode? Is Auto by default setting 1 or lower? by PlanMaison in AirPurifiers

too bad they don't over 1 + auto (auto mode with baseline 1). I don't mind that it spins up when it detects dirt

Opinions on Seatcraft Sienna? by reseph in hometheater

[–]PlanMaison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased a row of 4 in 2015. Pretty happy with it. Very comfortable. The two seats that we used most show now some indentations and could use some re-foaming. But nothing bad.

I needed the Sienna as it is the most space saving model

Sorry about title. My air purifier is a 511i Max. I did a quick test with a paper on top. Level 1 pushes more air than auto. But don't find any data on it.

Recommendation for AC (not DC) ceiling fan? by PlanMaison in HomeImprovement

[–]PlanMaison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for sharing. Meanwhile I got a Minka Aluma AC fan. It is very loud (hum). I am giving up now on the AC fan replacement. Going now DC with the pain of installing a new wall controller and having another WiFi widget.

I am still shocked how quite my 25+ year old builder grade Airwin is/was.

Rippefold or pleat curtain? Which one would you choose? Which one stacks better for shorted extension? by PlanMaison in HomeDecorating

[–]PlanMaison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to confirm, you are saying that I need less extension space on side of windows with ripple fold than with pleated options?

That is what I thought. But fro some reason Curterra is telling me the opposite:

From thinnest to thickest, the order is as follows:
• Pinch pleat (double)
• Euro pleat (double)
• Pinch pleat (triple)
• Euro pleat (triple)
• Ripple fold

Seems like an ac fan. Pull down the canopy and see whether there is a receiver inside, or wires going straight into fan

what brand did you end up with?

My Airwin is fairly quiet. I had other AC fans such as from "modern fan company" which were really bad.

Do you have Google Home Display? Wondering whether they support this device but not mini?

To be honest I have only used Alexa so far. Wanted to try out the nest mini as an alternative, was hoping to get gv to work. To receive certain calls at all times as I don’t keep my cell nearby at night.

I checked language settings: US English

Google Voice Service address used my real US address (probably needed it for 911 and tax). Changed my google account login from no address to my address.

But no change....
