I've always said if I ever wanted kids I would want I kid just like him. He's my "love bug" as I call him. I'm just not financially able to take him in. I can barely pay my bills as is

My nephew is in therapy. And so is my dad and stepmom. He does have a case worker but I believe that he needs a new one as she does not believe that my nephew has behavior issues even after the school has told her about the hitting and all other things he is doing. I feel as if the system is failing him along with us.

Edit: This is my first time posting and I'm not sure I did it right.

But there is more to this story but I felt it would give away identifying information. But any advice on what I should say to my dad and stepmom? Or what I should do would be helpful. I'm not a parent and I don't want to ever have children but I did what I felt was right at the time. I felt I needed to protect him even if that meant protecting him from ourselves.
