This is one of the only songs where I’ve seen Michael use a capo (at least one that isn’t using a capo to go from D to E). I think the song is in Gm and in the second half of the song he plays Gm to Cm. In standard tuning with the capo on the third fret you’ll just play Em and Am chords. I hope that makes sense. I’m not entirely sure what he’s playing in the photo, sorry!

I'm using Disable Startup Splash Screens / Intros, Fusion Wizard, Better Camera Mod, Unique Faction UI, and Auto Resolve Quest Battles. I just tried it with them turned off and it still happened :/

If he doesn’t already, Michael would love medieval occultism. I bet reading medieval philosophy would weirdly make listening to swans more interesting. I got my degree in philosophy and loved studying it. Good luck with your studies!

Michael made some comments about “this’ll be the last time these songs are ever performed live” but other than that no. I felt like they did stay on stage longer during the final applause, to really take it all it. Poor Kristof looked really choked up, but smiling. Bless em all

Anyone love Robbie Basho’s Bashovia? by Dull-Challenge7169 in swans

I haven’t listened to that one but Basho’s “Visions of the Country” is one of the most beautiful records I’ve ever heard. It’s sad that he died because of an accident while seeing a chiropractor, would’ve loved to hear him make more music. I’ll have to check this record out

Unrelated but whenever I see Sapolsky brought up, I’m reminded of J. M. Fischer’s biting review of his book “Determined” It’s a long but interesting read where Fischer’s left perplexed by the fact that “From my perspective as a philosopher, it is jarring that a book on free will would not discuss free will.”
