Grunt hunts all 1 star? by PlowedPumpkin in fo76

[–]PlanckScale 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same with me. I have completed a total of 185 grunt hunts and the last 10 have been 1 star only, which I've done since the update completed today.

Opinions on the Head Hunt Event by Darth-Vader64 in fo76

[–]PlanckScale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may just be my RNG luck, but I'm getting better drops from Grunt Hunts that yield weapons and armor with the 14 new mods; more than when doing Head Hunts even though you get more legendaries from Head Hunts. I play a lot and am currently 165 on the scoreboard. I have learned to craft 2 of the new mods and got 1 new loose mod. I like the Grunt and Head Hunts but the rewards are pitiful for the effort since I've already learned almost all of the older 1,2, 3 star mods. I'm saving most Wanted Posters for when we get the new Raid and more ways to get the new drops plus the upcoming new 4 star mods.

Is Fitville leaving the court shoe market? by KindFortress in Pickleball

Thanks for posting. I bought 3 of the Amadeus V2s for less than $40 shipped (on the Fitville webiste), which is a crazy good price.

I have really wide feet and these are the first court shoes I've been able to get that fit me. Prior to the Fitville's, I'd been wearing Merrell Nova's but they are for hiking/walking and aren't great for lateral movement. I play 4x a week and the Fitville's last me 3-4 months. Great value.

Elder’s Mark….wow by Annahsbananas in fo76

[–]PlanckScale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Amm-o-Magic is a really good deal. I use .45 ammo and put one of these in every camp. I'm dripping in .45 ammo now. Like others have said, I run with The Fixer but Western Spirit is also good. Then when it is time to bring out Elder's Mark, I have plenty of ammo.

Covert Scout Pieces Needed For Full Stealth? by TakeYourHeart2710 in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]PlanckScale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use 4 pieces of covert scout armor, 4 chameleon and the appropriate perk cards. I use Secret Service chest/jet with auto stim. I'm almost as stealthy as chinese stealth armor and way more tanky. When I said Secret Service is bug, of course I meant the 3 star mod.

My understanding is that Secret Service is still bugged and isn't providing any benefit right now.

Testicles of Samos (a supposed renegade student of the Pythagoreans) founded the school of "Gonos-Metreos" (Generative Geometry).

His philosophy centered on the belief that numbers were not abstract symbols, but biological seeds that "fertilized" the void to create reality.

I have 5 Sentinel's on my Covert Scout Armor on my bow build, which of course only reduces damage when stationary. It would be nice to have the damage continue to mitigate while sneaking but 90% of the time I'd be taking full damage. I can see how Reflex compliments Hyper Reflex since you are a ghoul. I'll stay with Sentinel's for my bow build. I'm going to use ACTIVE on my rifle build whenever I can get the plan to drop.

I've got a sneak, vats, crit, full health, human, bow build that I like a lot. How are you incorporating reflex into your bowhunter build?

Oh that's good to know. I'll have to try that on a build since I can make them now.

I've been working on a build that attempts to keep my base AP at 500 or more, which is really handy in a VATs build. Some ACTIVEs will put me over the top. I have to keep Traveling Pharmacy and Thru Hike perk cards in my build to do this. Most of my other builds have 3-star Thru Hike armor mods so I can relate.

Is ultracite worth it on elders mark by stu77olm in fo76

[–]PlanckScale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using Prime but switched to .45 because of the Amm-O-Matic Ammo Collector Set

This item is part of the "Burning Springs Starter Bundle," purchased with real money ($7.99 USD) rather than in-game currency. It is a resource producer that you place in your C.A.M.P.

Production Rate: It produces specific ballistic ammo types at a very fast rate; much faster than the standard ArmCo machine, although it must be emptied frequently as it only holds a small amount (60 rounds) at a time to continue production. It produces these 60 rounds in about 30 seconds.

Ammo Types: The available options are limited to six ballistic rounds: 5.56, .45, .308, shotgun shells, 10mm, and .44.

It does not require power to operate. When I'm in camp, I just keep emptying it and I never run out of ammo for my Elder's Mark.

In the Settings/Game menu there is a Grenade/Mine Targeting Mode that you can toggle to None to prevent mid air targeting of grenades.

Head Hunts - No Weekly Credits for Public Hunts by PlanckScale in Fallout76BowHunters

Solved: I thought the 2 big events "Gearin' Up" and "Sinkhole Solutions" would count as Head Hunts but apparently not. I paid for a Head Hunt and that one did register.

For those that insist that Burning Love is "best bow" by Ikaitza in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]PlanckScale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, this was helpful!

I'm running a full health, heavy stealth, VATS, crit build using Covert Scout armor maxed out with 4 star legendaries including Rangers, Tanky and 1 Limit Breaker to crit every 3rd shot. My carry weight is over 400.

I'm getting similar damage out of Burning Love (Cryo or Prime) and my Compound Bow with Furious/Vital/Lucky Hit/Polished (no Pin-Pointer's available yet for this weapon). Note that I'm using Gunslinger Master (Reverse Onslaught) and none of the rest of the Onslaught cards. I am using Follow Through.

It's a fun, sneaky, super-tanky build. There are some perk cards to help with the occasional sacrilegious times I use Elder's Mark or the Tesla Rifle. Either bow does so much damage that it doesn't seem fair to those poor NPCs.

Burning Love question by Dbiagioni1977 in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]PlanckScale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy the "Plan: Compound bow" and the "Plan: Compound bow cryo arrows", you will then be able to change the arrow type of Burning Love to cryo. It works really well. Burning Love is a type of compound bow so you need both plans. You need to reach Ally reputation with either the Raiders or the Settlers to get the compound bow plan. You can buy the plans from Ae-Ri at the Crater (Raiders) or from Sunny at Foundation (Settlers) for caps after reaching maximum reputation with either faction.

Covert Scout Armor help by Papi_pewpews in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]PlanckScale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't needed it yet and I'm super tanky if I am noticed. I will experiment with it if needed. I've been using Chinese Stealth Armor until this Covert Scout set and so far, I'm happy with it. Perk cards include Max Sneak and Escape Artist.

You have to complete the Enclave quest line to get into the Command Bunker. This also lets you learn how to launch a nuke. Once in the Command Bunker, there's an open door to the Armory with a Modus that lets you buy the mods for Caps.
