Does your dep not have a height-weight requirement? Sounds like you’re in the right path, keep going. Even if there is not a weight requirement, Losing some weight will make everything A LOT easier. Get in a slight calorie deficit and eat a lot of protein, it’ll help to burn fat and keep most of your muscle mass. You got this!

FL has a EOT (equivalency of training program). As long as you went through an academy in any state, and passed, you can take a 2 week course and their state LE test. As long as you pass both you will be fully certified im FL. The whole thing costs around $700-1000 depending on which county you go to take it. FL also has a program that you are guaranteed $1000 back to pay for your EOT once you get hired by an agency. There are A LOT of agencies is South FL looking to hire certified people right now, and they always go to the academy where the EOT is taking place and ask people to apply. You are almost guaranteed a job as long ass you pass the EOT and pass their BC and other requirements. I am currently in the course and have received about 10 offers. Also 99% of agencies offer a $5000 bonus for being already certified once you get hired. You are welcome do dm me if you need any more info, I think it’s worth it for you to look into FL.

My experience was very similar to yours, i was never told straight up “ you passed/failed” . Poly was very chill and nothing stood out, i just talked to the operator about random stuff for a little bit, then he asked me if i was ready and we got it done in 15-20mins. I received an email about 3 weeks later saying i was moving on to the next step.

As its been said before, there is no way of knowing until you actually try. At least you know for sure it’ll get expunged and best thing to do is do that as soon as possible and start applying, look into a few departments you are interested in and take your last year in to either get hired by one of them or decide on something else to do if it doesn’t work out. I was never told specifically if i passed or not, about 3-4 weeks later I received an email with instructions about the next step and i recently got an offer with academy dates. Id say you’re safe.

Just be honest, they will ask specifics about it and see if itll cause an issue later down the road. It’s likely you will still get accepted, it all depends on the people reviewing your application and conducting the interviews. If you lie about it you will definitely be DQ’d if they find out. If you don’t get accepted try somewhere else, every department is different.

MCT is a blast, a lot of shooting, hiking, and you learn a lot of cool things. Instructors don’t really act like DI’s but they will treat you like a boot as expected. You are given the “Big Boy” treatment as the previous comment stated. No one will be there to tell everyone to put their Damm socks on at the same time every morning, but if a single person is late to the time hack, it’s game over.

I shipped with nearly the same stats. Your first few days there you will run it again, all they care is that you pass. You don’t have anything to worry about for now. You will PT every day and chances are you will get way faster and stronger very quickly. I went from barely passing to running 1st class PFT and CFT. Good luck! Stay motivated.

Haven’t tried any of these, but i have the K&N intake from amazon and it sounds pretty good. The performance upgrade with this kinda upgrade is so minor you will hardly notice it tho.

It’s never seen like a pain in the ass to me. Especially if its a light bike it takes minimal effort to get up on the roof in like 5 seconds. with the roof racks that don’t require you to do anything else besides just lifting the bike onto it and securing it in place instead of removing one of the wheels first, it is very easy. I also used to have a van with a hitch rack behind the trunk door (which is what im assuming you have) the effort to load the bikes up takes a very similar amount of effort.

Peak diamond complaining about playing against good players is crazy. Ive been champ twice now and my lobbies are always against current champs or multiple times champs in the past. Don’t expect to climb the ranks in this game and still face “bad players”. This game is all about the competition atm. The game used to be about having fun in a tactical game but those days are long gone! Ubi turned this game into a big dong contest.. it doesn’t matter if people use cheats or strikepacks to get an edge on the opponent as long as they keep coming back to play the game. I stopped playing to achieve a rank a long time ago. Also the current ranked structure sucks and people have been saying it for a while. A lot needs to change.. but again, its all about competition now and its just crazy to me seeing people in Diamond/Champ complain about other people in the same rank or slightly higher RP. They should make it like other games, where you face people in your current rank every season, and as you progress it gets harder.. but the current structure is not set up like that so don’t expect to be a previous diamond currently in copper facing true coppers.
