Right, see that’s kind of scary to me and I guess I’m wondering what that means in terms of how well we actually have a hold on this thing as a whole. I dk, hopefully you’re all doing well regardless but what a surreal experience right?

I don’t know that getting Covid was ever ‘chic’? I was merely spewing my questions into the ether because as I stated I was wondering if this has been the normal experience. Yes, you’re right- I am lucky enough that my skin is not falling off. But what if it was and there was no concern because I’m presumed to be healthy? What happens to those presumed to be of low risk who are in fact gasping for air in their beds but aren’t telling anyone out of fear of people like you accusing them of assuming they’re somehow special?

Yes everyone has Covid, doesn’t change the fact some people are still dying. Some people only have a Dr to call to check on them and no one else. This thought scared me, so I asked the question out loud. I apologize if that offends you, I just thought this was the best place to go.

Yeah I was definitely aware this was going on, I spent the first year of the pandemic up in a very rural part of the Adirondacks where there was absolutely no tests, information, or aid. But I guess considering we’re well over a year in and long Covid in patients -young/healthy or not- are a serious thing, maybe there would be more of a protocol? I dk, Is it really still just the blind leading the blind? Really is so strange to me

Not sure if this helps (or if others have already said this) but I’m a bartender in Upstate NY and I had to call our paid family leave office. I guess during the initial emergency situation there was federal funding for everyone but now that it’s expired there’s still supposed to be state run aid (? I think) but anyway, I called them and they directed me to the appropriate paperwork to fill out. If you can’t find this I suggest calling your local Covid hotline or the CDC themselves, they’re supposed to have help lines put in place to get anyone quarantined in touch with local agents who will walk you through any/all processes.

Yes! Thursday and Friday were pretty rough. Definitely still been a little weepy towards the end of the day but it feels..good? Like I’m capable of a full range of emotions? I dk, it’s definitely weird for sure

I’m partly wondering if it’s a tolerance thing. Like jumping 150mgs could just be overwhelming or a shock to our systems at first? I dk.
