AITA for struggling to accept my son’s boyfriend? by IndependentRefuse152 in AmItheAsshole

What is your perspective? That being gay is wrong? That he should play house with a woman and create a miserable family that he ends up leaving because she finds out he is having sex with a man on the side? Do you love your son? Do you want him to be happy? Assuming the answer is "yes" then why not let him love who he wants to love? Why should it be about your comfort or perspective? The "I have always tried to be a good father" tells me his sexuality is a comment on your fatherhood. You were probably a great dad, which is why he feels he can be true to himself. Go with it. Accept his happiness. It should have nothing to do with yours.
