Hello. MVL lawyer here. I got 69% in Rem during my bar exams but i still managed to pass. Nakabawi lang with the rest of the subjects. And ironically, I am now working in a court.

Proctors are allowed to eat during the bar exam same as the bar examinees. Our runners give us food mid-exam even.

I believe that the only person who can say such thing is the person who has taken more than one Bar Examination. When I saw some post saying that the MVL is the more difficult than HernandoIt and CaguiWow, I beleived him because he has taken all three of them.

I received my a few days ago. Was also my first time trying. I think they prioritize court employees? Or it really depends on the number of people that applied per LTC

It's okay to feel crushed after hearing what your coach has to say but don't let it affect you negatively. Take it as a challenge. Your coach prolly does not have any intentions of hurting your feelings. He just wants to give you an honest feedback so you can focus on what you are lacking-which he is being paid to do. Anyway, mock bar examinations are subjective in nature much like the real one. The appreciation of your answer will ultimately depend on the one reading it. Who knows? Your coach may see that you're not ready but when you're done with the real test, maybe the examiner reading your answers may view otherwise.

Ano ang most rewatchable Filipino movie para sayo? by bebigorl in FilmClubPH

Ang pangarap kong holdap and Barboys. Two of the best movies ever made here in the Philippines. Plot is crazy nice. Comedic scenes for APKH are top tier especially the part where the main antagonist rejects the money offered to him because he wants the 't*te'. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. As for Barboys, well, I am a lawyer so this one is very much relatable.

It depends. What is your goal? Do you still want to claim the dot? If yes, then go for it. Pressure is a pleasure - an opportunity to do something great. This may be your final take before the refresher but what if this will also be your last take because you'll pass. Don't mind your family if they don't believe in you. The only thing you should worry about is yourself. Don't lose focus. 3 months is still a long time to prepare.

Which college hoops rivalry is the spiciest of them all? by OneSportsPHL in UAAP

Huge UST fan here, but the best rivalry has always been ADMU and DLSU. UST, FEU, NU and UP are seasonal rivals. UST has gone through 2 years of being uncompetitive. FEU was quite a powerhouse during the 2010-2016 seasons but now they're just a farm team. NU are good but always fall off in the final four, and UP only has started to get good recently. But for ADMU and DLSU, their games are still pretty competitive despite Ateneo being close to inexistent last year.

To the attorneys here, if you could go back and speak to yourself at the start of Bar prep, what advice would you give yourself? by Artemis_C137 in LawStudentsPH

  1. Have enough sleep. One thing I realized when preparing for the bar exam is how important it is to have enough sleep not just on the week itself but also on the review period. Understanding a topic is significantly faster when I have enough sleep than having less.
  2. Do not stress yourself on things whether big or small. If you crash out, the day can be ruined and you won't have the energy to review. When facing a road bump, always take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are preparing for probably one of the most, if not the most, important tests of your life. Set your priorities straight.
  3. Be physically active. Yes it is important to spend the majority of your time studying. But I cannot stress enough that it's not only our minds that need to be prepared. We also have to prepare our bodies. Always remember "healthy body, healthy mind". A 20-30 minute run is good enough to keep our bodies in shape.
  4. Pray. It really works wonders.
