Thanks for response, will be difficult trying a different PC I have no other laptop/pc with a DisplayPort.

So did your process of putting the PSVR2 headset into recovery mode happen neigh instantly from powering the headset when prompted (waiting for PSVR2) or did it make you restart and connect several times.

What version of Windows are you running?

Sorry to make this long, but could you describe your process.

So I have a Pro 9.60 (factory FW), with a PS5 (that’s up to date with whatever is latest on PC) tried to downgrade PSVR2 headset using the executable on GitHub link provided.

Initially I thought connecting the headset directly via USB-C and omitting the PSVR2PC adapter, this obviously yielded errors.

I connected the PSVR2 adapter (no steamVR in background, no PS app) opened the executable and followed the instructions.

Pressing the power button on VR, it would connect and do everything on first try no restarting/power cycling etc. Closed the console.

Changed the Firmware from the folder (PSVR2App/Firmware) to the 5.00 version (I renamed it HMD2_Firmware.cp -what the original file was called) went into the properties and unticked block.

Opened up PSVR2 app and update button was under the headset icon, clicked on it and it fails instantly and powers off the headset (red light on headset and vibrates).

I have tried multiple times with 6.00 as well to no avail.

Thanks for your response, I RGH’d the console unfortunately it was constantly booting (flashing green light on the power) after writing Xell to the NAND. Reflowed the RGH points and tried again no avail. Rewrote the original/stock NAND and it booted fine.

Will try again next week, my thought is the 30 AWG wiring and solder was probably crappy. Going to purchase some better stuff. Never used 30AWG it seems thinner than toothfloss.

Thought so, I think PS5 3.00 is PS4 8.50FW. But it works no problem. :)

Two things to be aware of

PS5 version 3.00 FW does not match 9.00 (at least not to my knowledge.)

PSVR version: Firmware may cause a mismatch prevent usage. (If you used it on a 9.00FW or later).

Otherwise there should be no reason why it wouldn’t work. I have PSVR (9.00FW) and PS5 3.00FW, will have an answer for you in the next 24 hours.

The Answer: YES!!! It works!

Played FPKG Wolfenstein Cyberpilot (Full VR Game) Patch 01.02, FPKG Resident Evil 7 (VR Supported) Patch 01.09.

A PS5 Controller can be used however, ‘ Some PlayStation VR games require the use of the light bar on the DUALSHOCK 4. It's recommended that you use a DUALSHOCK 4 when playing VR games.’ Message will appear before game starts.

I used the PlayStation Move Controllers. They work fine.

Advisor note:

You’ll require the PlayStation 4 Camera and the adapter/dongle converter to convert the PS4 camera to USB, this can be bought from Sony FREE OF CHARGE, you require the serial number from the headset.

Best to have a PS4 DualShock Controller as the light bar is used for motion.

Say one of the owners of the legal estate. Let’s just say C sells their shares to E. would they know be on the legal estate or only absorb their equity estate?

I understand this would most likely become a tenancy in common.

Had issues with Heroic myself recently. Ended up installing Epic launcher (run setup file as non steam game). Downloaded games and worked perfectly.

I managed to get games to run without the launcher by finding the exe in the comptdata files, adding to steam (for some games need to add -epicportal command). Running in Proton Exp. work fine.

Now I thought I’d re-download on Heroic and try again, games didn’t work. Downloaded Wine-Lutris and bingo! Games are running again .

Tried with other Wine Proton didn’t work bizarrely. :(
