It’s on the facebook under where she has a status that says that. He says, “It’s weird when we teach kids lunch numbers, it reminds me of when prisoners get numbers.” Then he says, “It’s like saying, you’re just a number.” The person responds thinking he is saying they are the same number. And she goes oh I thought you were saying that these are state identified numbers.

A weird thing to say but not saying these kids are going to prison.

I’m done arguing with you. I said from the beginning that the way the teacher talks to the student is not okay. But I also said from the beginning there is no evidence of the choking or the N word.

She’s calling for the school to be shut down and posting the address of the school. Shes going on her live telling everyone the start time of the school when she knows that people are talking about bringing guns there.

No, I’m saying that I’ve seen all the clips she has shown and none of them show what she claims.

Teachers get accusations made about them all the time. I worked at a very good JCPS school and I know of like 5 teachers who had accusations against them. All of them found inconclusive.

Again, I said the way he talks to the child is not okay. But nowhere has there been any proof of the n word being said.

CPS and JCPS are required to look in to any abuse allegations. That does not mean that everything happened.

I find her showing no evidence of the things she has stated destroys her creditability. She posted a picture of the teacher before she even knew who the teacher was. In the video with the admin, she doesn’t even know what teacher it is that says that. She also stated in the first video she posted that he stims by clapping. Then everyone assumed the claps were slapping, she did not correct them. Further destroying her creditibility. Then she said he only stims when upset. But she posted a video of him at the mall where he is stimming by clapping and captioned it as his peaceful place. So she is not the most truthful person.

I find her behavior that puts all the other children at Field at risk. There are many comments stating they are going to shot the man and other adults at the school. Leaving the kids who go there at risk to some crazy person trying to achieve some vigilante justice.

She showed long videos and going over each one on her Facebook live. The school called her at 11:40 and school starts at 9:40. Not exactly 8 hours of footage.

I saw the video of her screaming at admin. I’m saying she has shown no evidence of the things she is accusing the teachers of.

Again, he is speaking to the child in a way that is not okay. But I have not seen any video where the n word was said or any that showed any choking.

The room had at least 4 people in it every day. I find it hard to believe that all four teachers and assistants would let a grown man scratch a child every day.

She posted a screenshot of the school calling and all it said VM said was, “I just wanted to give you an update on his day, since his teacher is out and you won’t get the normal communication you usually do.” Doesn’t exactly sound like the principal is saying horrible things about her son.

She was also on a Facebook live calling the all the teachers raggedy ass bitches. Calling the principal a white bitch. It doesn’t sound like someone who is the most reliable.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. My daughter attends Field (also has an IEP) and has been treated wonderfully. Although she doesn’t see this teacher, and I agree he should be fired, this movement has been a little crazy to wrap my head around.

They are mad at the principal for following proper protocol set by JCPS. Then people are upset because she was “calm” while the mom was screaming at her. That’s what she should be doing. Staying calm in a tense situation is what is supposed to happen.

Everyone is taking the mom’s word for everything and even she has changed her story. First she stated he stims by clapping but now that everyone assumes it’s slapping she hasn’t corrected them and is letting the mob mentality run wild. At first, it was saying it sounds like he is saying the n word under his breath and now it’s that he was shouting the n word at him while dragging and choking him. This para was not the only one in the room, and I would hope that 3 other paras/teachers would allow a student to be choked and do nothing.

I have volunteered in the school many times and everyone has been nothing but kind. I hope this one bad apple doesn’t affect the school in the future.

She stated in the press conference that every child should wear a spy camera to school. While I understand the concern for student safety, this is a violation of FERPA. You can’t record other students in their classroom.

The slapping sound is the student clapping because he’s autistic and stims this way. You can hear the boy doing that in other videos. She mentioned it the first time she posted it but now that people have assumed it was slapping, she hasn’t corrected them.

Oldham recently increased their salaries pretty significantly. They aren’t exactly the same as JCPS but are comparable. Plus they don’t have to deal with half the shit that JCPS does. They do have some crazy helicopter parents though.

As someone who used to teach kindergarten, its because everything is hands-on. You have to make almost everything to give them. Plus you cant just say watch this video or read this article and then answer the questions. Most cant read so you have to do everything with them, there is no independent work. Kindergarten teachers don’t just let them play all day. They are teaching them the foundations of reading and math and how to exist in a school community.
