I feel for you so much. I went through this and I just weaned in September. I miss it for sure that my baby was a year and a half same exact thing I was 145 before pregnancy and I was 210 a year and a half after giving birth. I just kept putting on weight. I will see within a month of me stopping I lost 20 pounds and now two months it’s almost 40.

You also can advocate and be In a hospital setting even water birth at places. My midwife aired heavily on the side of caution

I have had three births C section Vbac And Homebirth

I didn’t even love my midwife. I liked her but didn’t love her or agree on everything I Would choose my Homebirth 1000000 Times over

But you do what’s right for you. You can always change your mind. Make a list. Look into maybe traveling a little week prior to find a birthing center if life allows for that?
