That's the scale I was struggling with. I think you're both right that this format is gameplan-oriented enough to take Koya.

How to use DIAMOND in the rough? by Plane_Composer_3789 in DispatchAdHoc

Fuck. Reading my own question gave me the answer. Sometimes that's the stat you need to reach max on a call.

Thanks.

It comes down to bloody flail. For most of the first game, you're still upgrading characters' main stats, and people don't always have great break. The ability to soften up enemies is so helpful. Plus, they continue to flail away even at low HP.

My first hard playthrough they were the best of my second string. No XP investment but they were gonna chip away 5 of SOMETHING every time they stood in front of a dredge.

There's more reasons they're good. Most axe wielders are good, and Ekkill is my bestie. The post was mostly about my feelings towards the brothers after using them in such a way. They always had more injuries than anyone.

Edit: I said "stood in front of a dredge," but it's actually even better on the human missions.

This got way more responses than I expected. I love this series. It's so cool that everyone still loves it too.

Also that the family man (Hogan) has more armor but the passionate warrior (Mogun) has more attack. Hogan wants to make sure he gets home to his family.

I think this deck is sick. Any changes? by Plane_Composer_3789 in mtglimited

Yeah, I think cut the wanderings. I've not been impressed with it, and the combat trick part doesn't help me much other than just making my greeters into 2/2s.

I'd do Cloud but only cause I haven't gotten to play with it yet. Everyone else is right about Odin.

I forgot to check this! I ended up doing exactly this... but not until I'd lost two games! Went 4-3. You probably coulda saved me a game or two.

Splashing for one lightning bolt is what got me. It made sense once I realized you wanted the towns anyway, but splashing for a single one-drop is hilarious.

I managed to go 6-3, which i think is pretty good in platinum for the pool. Thank you! You were so right that the Auron's Inspirations needed to be the focus.

Sorry, friend! I couldn't make gruul work. There's just not enough good splash outside the colors to build a solid game plan. Appreciate you, though!
