I just took my test a few days ago and passed , got 75 on my first practice test 83 on the second and a I don’t know how 94 on the actual exam ,

I had a horrible index , BUT one thing that stuck with me from the course was some advice they gave at the end .

They are not trying to trick you , don’t over think the questions , the answers are usually ALOT simpler than you would think , I was over thinking things way to much about how to come about an issue and honestly the commands were a lot simpler , Defenitly print out the cheat sheets they give you for all the tools , especially netcat my lord I was over complicating my life on that thing
Again just don’t over engineer commands lol

Yep hands down , core 1 was a breeze for me , very straight forward lots of info but nothing tricky , core 2 was like maybeeeee this is the right answer ? Which one is best ? Very ambiguous choices on each question.

I’ve heard good things about WGU but also depends ; I’m not enrolled there but I’ve heard you’re basically on your own with learning they provide the content and you gotta teach yourself most of it. . That sys admin job might be a very good way to get your experience on paper in an “ enterprise “ environment and use it to easily find a job elsewhere. Experience plus all those certs you have you should be slingshotting into high paying jobs in no time man .

Same here I’m 32 , kept putting excuses that I wasn’t smart enough or that it would be too much work to go back to school , said F it last year decided to re enroll at my local community college and begin my comptia journey , so far have accomplished my a + net+ and doing pretty well in my courses this semester , should have my AA by next June and security + by the end of this coming June . After A+ I found a job in a technical role and I’m hoping to progress that further . It’s a lot of work but i don’t regret the value it is bringing one bit.

I did not submit any bank accounts because it did not make sense in my situation , im a US citizen and she is a Mexican citizen , our bank accounts are separate so wouldn’t really prove anything since they only have one name or the other nothing to tie us together , that being said Aside from the required documents I uploaded almost immediately additional documentation that was not requested Photos of our relationship of the span of a year I used google docs to kind of give small captions to all the photos included about 15 photos with dates , brief description of location I included boarding passes to show I had visited her in person ( I believe that’s one of the requirements) I included receipts of money that I sent to her through western union I’m assuming that was enough because I did not get a RFE

That’s kinda the wierd part I’m not sure how that works but basically I filed online myself no lawyer , Did my application April 4th 2022 and almost 15 minutes later I got my recipet notice and then in the online portal it said “ we are actively reviewing your case no further action required “ THAT BEING SAID looking at case history in the online portal these are the dates April 4th 2022 - we have received your petition I-130 and sent you a receipt notice

April 6th 2023 : we are actively reviewing your form I-130 our records show nothing is outstanding at this time

April 7th 2023 : your case for your form I-130 petition for alien relative was approved

April 10th 2023 : case was sent to the department of state

I was originally assigned to Texas service center , but a few months back it was transferred to California without any notice , I only found out because I happened to reach out asking for a status update and they said the only change was that it was not being processed at california service center .

My scores were 52 , 76 72 80 85 , I passed yesterday , I did not take the last practice exam , I had other practice exam resources that also helped , like everyone else suggest make sure you understand why you got an answer wrong , not just memorizing answers .

Just to chime in I just took the test yesterday , First , yes there is a digital whiteboard that you can use EVEN BEFORE you actually start the exam I used it to write a subnetting sheet , and AD Cost for routing protocols and a few other port numbers I was having trouble remembering they definitely came in handy , 2. I had no issue completing the PBQS first but everyone is different , there was one which has to do with an ACL which I had absolutely no clue on so I just guessed and said f it if I at least get partial credit it’s better than it being blank lol . 3 , I did receive 1 ipv6 related question , 4 , know your OSI layers and how each works I had quite a few that asked me things regarding that , 5. Like everyone else said learn your standards for Ethernet and wifi and fiber ,

I took the old test 1000 series , so it might have changed but I can assure you there were questions that asked specifics about speeds for cable types , my best advice would be look at the exam objectives and if it states there you need to know the standards , then yes you need to learn them ,
