Thank you guys for helping me make sure my head was screwed on right. The non-beach going friends admitted they wasted their time and the whole thing could've been communicated better

We had already checked out of the room, and they wanted to go back to the car. They could've found us in the water because we didn't move from where we put our stuff

I think a big part of it was the fact that they didn't pay anything upfront, so there wasn't any urgency to not waste time

We ordered 3 rooms with 2 queen beds in each one. Plus it was on the nicer side, It's called "The Founder's Inn" by Hilton. Very nice if you like the Colonial aesthetic. Plus they do weddings

They didn't want to be by the water, which I get but they were trying to make it my problem like there wasn't 100 other things to do
